“There are no more pandas” and “I watched them abandon you” was clues but I thought it was a way of saying death without saying it. The Nickelodeon treatment if you will 😂 but I mean Mantis talking about head eating should’ve let me know they will straight up talk about death

To be fair, the "There are no more pandas" quote was actually implying that all the pandas were dead. The 🦚 himself thought he killed all the pandas, if I remember that correctly. I thought that once the camera was moving towards the panda village you were going to say "wait... Are they gonna show more pandas?" Or something like that 😂 you are usually pretty quick with that stuff. But glad you didn't hehehe

i love what you said about the self-fulfilling prophecy of Shen, it ties back to something Oogway said to Shifu in the first movie "one often meets his fate on the path he takes to avoid it". this ended up happening when the messenger duck that was supposed to tighten security at the prison ended up being what let Tai lung escape.
