Weekly Devlog: 25 - 31 March 2024 (Patreon)

Hello Patrons! I hope you're having a lovely Easter weekend and enjoying the final weekend of March.

This week, I mostly worked on the dialogue scenes with the Vinia family and completed both Siduri and Belahm's scenes. I started working on Zikar's scenes and I still have a bit to go before his are complete. I have to still do the divine blessings talk and then a talk on Salyra, before it's complete. I should be done with Zikar's dialogue either by tomorrow or very early on Tuesday.

I'll then move to Rana's scenes which will also be a bit to write, but because it's only one person as opposed to three, I should be done with her scenes by the end of the week in time to do a beta test of the new scenes for an update by next week.

Once the testing commences, I'll start working on the side stories and will post them for you between updating the demo for the different tiers. It's not a very wordy update, it'll be around 20K+ words (I suspect it's a bit higher now since the last I checked) but it's necessary for the progression of what I hope to be the final update for Chapter 9.

Originally, there was only going to be the discussion of where the MC will be going at the end of Chapter 9 with a bit of time with the ROs/companions, but because I hate my chapter outlines and plans (I can never stick to them), I've decided to add an extra scene which is where the Vinia family all sit down for a family reunion/meal with Salyra and her new family. You as the player won't be forced to attend, but it does offer a lot more juicy scenes 😅

Other than that, things are still going according to plan and I should be done with this mini-update by the end of the week if all goes well. As always, I will keep you updated if there are any changes to this.
