Notification of Membership Price Changes for iOS members due to Apple Policy (Patreon)

Hello!

First of all, I want to thanks all of my current Patreons for all of their continued support, and for allowing me to make a living out of my craft! Thanks a lot, ahhh!

Second of all, I bring bad news because of Apple, of all things. Specifically, when it comes to a new policy regarding Apple's App Store, and the Patreon app.

Beginning this 4th of November 2024, new purchases, including new memberships and digital goods made in the Patreon iOS app, are subject to Apple’s 30% App Store Fee.

Keep in mind this is Apple's new policy, and not Patreon. You can read all about it in this article!

TLDR:

• If you are an iOS user:

  • If you are currently supporting me through the iOS app (before this 4th of November), these changes will not be applied to you.

  • If you are NOT currently supporting me and for some reason intend to use the iOS app to sign up, you will be charged a 30% fee if you sign up after 4th of November 2024. To avoid this, use an Android App version or use the web version of Patreon on desktop PC or a laptop.

• If you are NOT an iOS user or don't intend to sign up using the iOS app, you do not need to worry about this change.
