September Stuff! (Patreon)

If you’ve been keeping up, you’ll know that I’ve been a bit run off my feet lately and for some reason I’ve been making a bunch of costumes at once rather than one at a time. The reason I do this is to try and keep the sense of passion I have for cospaly from fleeting away.

There are moments when making a costume and spending hours on something it doesn’t go right or you ruin it. When that happens to me I have a little cry and then get pissed off and give up. To counteract that, I usually switch between working on different parts of different costumes. For example if I’m working on cyclops harness and it goes ass up, I can move on to beastboy and do something calming like paint shoes. This lets me refocus myself AND be productive. It’s a trick thats kept me from pulling my hair out and hating cosplay.

The down fall to this is that I have zero costumes ready for you guys and for the first time in a very long time, I have no new content/costumes to mail for prints. I’ve been toying around with different ideas and even got some feed back from a few people in the batcave. But I’m curious if you guys have any suggestions. I’m pretty sure I know what I’m gonna do, but I really want to hear from you guys because it’s for you guys.
