Happy New Years! Plans and goals (Patreon)

Heya gang!

Happy New years! I know I'm a little late, but I just wanted to say that I hope you all had a Happy New Years and have a great start to the year!

I wanted to get a bit more done in December, but it's always a bit difficult in the Holiday season with family coming over. So, I had to move some plans back.

The Triple Tyrant game is finished! It was supposed to be done on New Year's Day, but I always underestimate how long it will take to do all the audio work since I always wait to do all of it last haha. It's an animation focused game, but there's quite a lot of variations of the animation and a few secret bonuses as well! So, I hope there's plenty of varied content for you all to enjoy! The secrets aren't too hard to find, there's a small one on the title screen and then another big one in the sex scene itself and both are activated by clicking on something(s). I'll put a "guide" to the secrets later, and I'm sure people will put their findings in the comments. But for now, I'd like to see you all try to find them! Ideally, I'd like to do more animation focused games like these in the future periodically. This one was commissioned basically as a series of animated comms, but I'd like to incorporate more polls for games like these in the future. So, I'll discuss plans with you all further down this post. I hope you're able to enjoy it!

Mythra Part 3 is almost done. It was also supposed to be done by New Year's but my time was limited, so I decided to focus more on Triple Tyrant, since it was almost done and since it's a game, I figured it would provide longer entertainment for you all. I'm making it more in the style of the Pyra and Mythra Christmas special, so there's a bit more movement than before. But I kind of had to fix a lot of smaller things to make everything flow together with the new style, so it's taking longer than I wanted, but I'll get it done this January. For my animations going forward, I'd like to do them in this style since I feel they're more interesting to look at, but I'm still experimenting with things. But at the same time, I don't want animations to take too long and God knows this one has been in the burner for too long. So, I'll get it done as soon as I can as it will be my main focus going forward this month.

I also wanted to make a small Christmas game as a surprise for you all in 2024. But I overestimated both how much time I'd have and how much work the game would need. I actually have most of the art and gameplay code for it, but it still needs quite a bit of animation work, and I don't want to push this too much while I still have so many other things I need to get done. In 2025, I want to focus more on specific projects so I'm getting things to you all on a regular basis, clearing my backlog, and there aren't months of content droughts. And I don't want to show off aspects of the project without having something at least properly playable or having it be almost complete. So, for now I'll be shelving this project. Maybe if I get a bit ahead of schedule, I'll work on it a tad in my free time. But between comms, and promised project work, I think I need to utilize my time better.

As for the monthly comic poll, it looks like Anis won! I was a bit surprised on how popular she was haha but she'll be the next character featured. Story-wise, I'll probably keep it basic and just have it be a chance encounter between her lucky commander haha Anyway, I'll try to get this done once I finish Mythra Part 3!

Anway's, moving into 2025, I want to focus on getting more projects overall done. Even if they are small or I don't like them in the end, finishing things will not only help me grow a lot more as an artist, but will also ensure that I'm getting content out to you all at a regular basis. On that same note, I need to be better at managing my health and energy. I often get bursts of inspiration or energy and then work myself into the ground trying to capitalize on that feeling, which just leads to periods of burn out where I'm not getting anything done. So instead, I'll focus on smaller, discipline focused work periods, that are focused on consistent progress. That way, I can ensure that I still get things to you all while also making sure I'm keeping my health in mind and not trying to pull all-nighters all the time trying to make up for lost work time. I mentioned earlier that I wanted to do more polls too and have you all vote on characters you want to see. I think these smaller scale projects will be a good way to test this work style and should help me keep consistent on things. I'll let you all know how it goes and things go well, I'll hopefully be able to do these polls monthly!

And lastly I want to thank you all for your support in 2024. I know 2024 was a very barren year where I didn't update for months due to several factors and that is unacceptable. I want you all to know that I don't take your support for granted, so I will work hard to make sure I earn it. I'll be doing my best going into 2025 to make sure I finish my projects and get more content for you all. Thank you once again for all of your support.

Anyways that's it for now. I'm actually about to head to bed as I've been feeling very sluggish these last few days due to getting poor sleep, so I want to remedy that as soon as I can. So I might have missed something since I'm so sleepy, but I'll add anything else if needed later haha. Thanks once again for all your support and kind words and I hope you all have a wonderful 2025!
