Chapter 2 -7th HEAVEN- Part 2 (Patreon)

Time for the second part of  Ch 2 -7th HEAVEN-, the next part will be the last one of this chapter.

I highly recommend to have nice battle theme/song of your preference to read the first lines of this part as it opens with a battle scene, (that's if you like listening to music while reading), again it's a matter of preference.

I woke up with my face down on the cold dirt of a crater and a powerful hissing sound that reverberated inside my head, I felt danger near, then I heard a young female voice screaming. 

"It's a Midgar Zolom, RUN!"

Midgar Zolom? what is a Midgar Zolom?, I turned my body face up and stood up as fast as I could, my eyes were barely adapting to the light of the cloudy and misty environment, when I felt the urgency to be on guard, then, I finally managed to focus, I saw something between the mists, a serpentine shape of about 30 feet tall, I observed the giant reptile for a couple of seconds and I uttered to myself.

"So that's a Midgar Zolom."

The young female voice I heard screaming before, was screaming again.

"Run, run, run!!!" she shouted in panic.

I turn my attention to the direction where I heard the girl, I see her and a couple of children, I return my attention to the giant serpent trying to analize the situation, around 55 metres from me, approximately 34 metres from them, quickly realizing the distance between the three younglings and the giant monster is much shorter than it is to me, and screaming like that the girl is just calling the monster's attention, the option of leaving this place silently comes to mind, they are not part of my mission, they will manage to escape...maybe..., but as fast as it comes I dismiss it, no...they will die without any help. As expected the Midgar Zolom is atracted to the loud noise made by the girl, starts chasing them and with one quick slide of it's enormous body gets dangerously close to the little group. 

The monster's speed is considerable, it moved a little more than 20 metres in 1 second, that's roughly 75kph, another second and it will reach them, one more and they will be dead, I could move at the same speed but I'm too far away, only one way to do this...

I draw my weapon, release it to it's full size and throw it at the monster's head, I see the serpent's jaw wide open closing the distance to the youngest of the children, my weapon is flying straight to my target, I bend my knees leaning forward until my hands touch the ground, then launch myself with all the strength I can gather in a split-second, the giant jaws are about to close on it's prey but my weapon reaches it's destination, impaling the serpent's jaw like a sting diverting it from it's course, the monster is only distracted for a moment and swings it's head back to it's original place, but it's enough time for me to arrive, I shout to call it's attention.

"Over here, fangs!"

I succeed and now with it's attention focused on me, the snake turns it's head to my direction, still on the air and lunging directly to clash with the front of it's skull, nothing comes to my mind but to keep going with the impulse I already have and deliver a well placed headbutt just between it's nostrils, I steel myself and bash my head as hard as possible against my target's producing a loud impact accompanied by the sound of bone cracking, the monster falls backwards into the mists hissing in pain while I manage to land on my feet turning quickly to spot the younglings. 

There they are!

Running to them I notice they are not escaping anymore, one of them is lying on the ground unconscious and see the eldest girl trying to wake the little one up with no success, I reach their location.

"I've come to help you." I say trying to calm them down, the girl looks at me crying and says.

"My little brother!, he is...he is..." he doesn't look dead, I check the child's vital signs with haste and as I thought, he is still alive, no visible wounds... maybe he just fainted, I lift the child to carry him on my left shoulder and instruct the other two girls to run. 

What was that? 

A slithering sound behind us is heard. 

Is it up so soon!?  

The monster is not only fast but silent too, as soon as I turned around I saw it, the lower part of it's jaw almost ripped off by my blade which is still stuck edge up, it's nose broken inwards, it's eyes glowing red in murderous rage and too close for evasive maneuvers, that left me only one option... counterattack, I'm carefully and slowly putting down the kid in my shoulder giving him to his sister, while I whisper to them.

"Get behind me and hide if you can."

The giant serpent notices the children moving, but doesn't seem to care at all, it's eyes are fixated on me, I guess it wants revenge, I wait for the right moment and everything goes silent for a few long seconds, but suddenly the silence breaks when the howling sound of a blade cutting through the wind is heard followed by loud metal clanging, I immediately focus on it and spot a male with blonde hair crashing down the monster's head with a blade of a size similar to my own, with overwhelmig force the downward blow is so powerful that almost splits the beast's skull in two, bringing it down more than a couple of metres. 

Now is my chance! 

I move forward swiftly underneath the enemy's head and jump to reach my weapon, I grab it and taking advantage of the down force the blonde man is applying I slice in the opposite direction to cut through all the way up the Midgar Zolom's head.

The monster's head falls on the moist ground of the marsh while it's body still wiggles for a few more seconds, the blonde man and I land a couple of metres away from each other, he whips his sword to remove the excess blood and puts it away to a strap on his back, I do the same returning my weapon to a smaller size and return it to it's scabbard , I turn around to see him, spiky blonde hair, blue eyes and a buster sword, I recognize him, could he be...Cloud the soldier?

"Are you..." he interrupts me, 

"You helped those kids..." 

"Affirmative." I nod.

"Thank you." he says but doesn't look at me, he turns around and walks toward the three younglings hiding behind a rock.

"Wait," I say in a demanding tone, he stops walking and looks at me over his shoulder, "You're Cloud Strife, the soldier, right?." 

He turns around and asks "And what if I am?" 

I step forward and look at him in the eye, "I need your help". He closes his eyes for a few seconds, then opens them again and looks back at me.

"You helped these kids, for that, I'll listen to you, but only after they are back in the city and safe". 

I nod, "Let's go then".

The minutes turned to hours while I listened to Tifa's story and the breakfast turned to snack time, then lunch with drinks, then to snack time again...with more drinks, later when the night fell, to dinner, and finally "snack" time yet again...with no snacks... only drinks.

"And that's pretty much what happened..." Tifa said while looking at her half empty glass.

"That is a one-of-a-kind story to remember." I responded while looking at the ceiling above us, I turn my head towards her and ask.

"There is only one thing that is not quite clear to me from what you told me Tifa."

She looks at me and raises one of her eyebrows with a puzzled expression, she asks, "What is it Noira?".

"Your relationship with your partner Cloud..." she raises her other eyebrow and her eyes open wide for a second, she looks away from me and looks into her glass, same one she starts guzzling rapidly, "It's clear to me that you love him, but..." she drinks the last few drops leaning her head backwards, until her glass is bottom up, "You never said if you consumated your love with him."

She abruptly leans forward and spits her drink on the bar counter, coughing a couple of times before turning herself towards me.

"Wha..WHAT!?" she says in a high-pitched tone, her face had a light blush before, but now it is bright red.

"Is something wrong Tifa?" she looks at me with her eyes wide open.

"Di-did you say?, co-consu..." 

Oh, maybe I wasn't clear enough, I interrupt her, "Consumate, copulate, make love, have sex, fu..." she interrupts me.

"Waaa, wait, wait, I got it, I got it...I mean, I understand, it's just..." 

I see, she is embarrased about it, maybe she didn't mention it because it hasn't happened, she remained silent for a few seconds while looking down with her face still in full blush.

"It hasn't happened... right?" she shakes her head without looking at me, "But he knows how you feel about him...right?", she shrinks, presses her forehead against her knees and says with a soft tone, almost mumbling.

"We have kissed a couple of times before... and one time he got really close to one of my breasts, but..." she stops talking and raises her head to look at me.

"But?" I ask inquisitively.

"But I still can't manage to tell him how much I love him...how much I want him...every time I try, I choke... I just don't know how to do it." 

Maybe she lacks self-confidence in intimacy affairs or... experience, the master instructed me exactly what to do in this cases!, I'll teach her everything I know, that way she won't choke anymore.

"Do you want to me to teach you how?" I ask while looking at her directly in the eye and getting my face close to hers until only a few inches of space remain between us.

"You...you mean? so he and I can..." she looks at me with interest and curiousity in her expression.

I nod, then I get closer with my whole body, I press my hand on her thigh to lean on it and bend my knee to slide it between her legs under her skirt until her inner thighs stop it from going any further, our faces have no more space left between them as the tip of her nose meets with mine.

"I can teach you everything you need to know so you won't choke ever again in front of Mr. Cloud." 

She seems to be in shock, she doesn't move and her breathing turns heavier, "Nod and close your eyes if you accept." she looks at me with watery half-closed eyes and after a few seconds, she nods and closes her eyes.

Barely touching her lips with my own I say "Story time is over, now it's time for practice."
