@23:30 — My read on it is that the dollar equivalent is probably the medium bronze coin, and possibly even the small bronze coin. Back in the first episode when Myne's mother took her to the market, the vegetables were being sold for a few tens of the currency unit — some number of small bronze coins, given the small bronze coin is 10 of the base currency. So if a medium bronze coin is $1, then a small silver coin is $100, and a small gold would be like $10,000.

Also you have to remember that Myne is still kind of working with her previous Japanese style of negotiating, all apologetic and courteous to the customer. She hasn't quiet gotten into the more western style of price negotiation.

I will say there is some method to the madness of making the 2nd one cheaper, making an addon item cheaper is still overall more money than just selling a single one so in some circumstances its a good strategy to implement for those who couldn't afford to flat out buy multiple

You guys need to fix your subtitles soon because as things go more indepth the incorrect names and titles are gonna cause more and more issues later down the line, CRs subs are ass because they were done before the official translation to the novels was released
