A lot of people don't get how important they are. Side stories are of the highest importance in Bookworm. Myne is a very selfish and unreliable narrator. The extra stories are what let us understand the world.

Glad to hear they will be watching the OVA's. And timing wise, it's almost best to watch them after the 1st episode of season two; since they expand on things that are only mentioned in passing / visually hinted at.

It's easy to miss OVAs when distribution platforms don't have them or don't organize them well within seasons. I don't think watching them out of order is that big of a deal, but glad to hear they've been informed.

I think the side stories add a lot to the novels since they are written in first-person perspective, but are less of a big deal in the anime which is less tainted by Main's perspective. Still nice to watch and great to learn about other characters, but less essential to understanding Main herself. But yeah, they probably just didn't know these OVAs were a thing.

They are a big deal for the anime too, but as anime only you don't really understand the importance of these two side stories (and why these two specifically were adapted while others were not) until later in the story.

Man this is gonna be torture each week waiting for the next epsiode. Part 2 is so dense with information that each episode moves forward so little.

It's more that the OVA is referenced in this episode, and that is something they might miss if they wait too long before watching the OVA. So hopefully soon.
