This is one of my favourite shows. Waiting a week for each episode is going to be tantalizing

Just like promised, I have rejoined to watch Chihayafuru! Can't wait for the next episode is something I'll be thinking after every video. Taichi is good at academics and sports, he basically excels at everything he tries. That's why his parents don't want him "wasting" his time at things he can't win right away, since he can just concentrate on other things in which he is already successful. So it's not like they're teaching him to be a quitter, more like to be selective of how he spends his time and energy. Quick reminder, this backstory happens in elementary school, they are currently in first year of High School and Taichi went to a different middle school than Chihaya. Both of them also seem to have lost contact with Arata.
