"Second Chances" Themed Show Replacement Poll!! (Patreon)

We're coming up on the end of A Place Further Than The Universe!! As such we'll be getting this poll done in advance so we all know what's coming next.

This poll only has shows that have been on a poll, but have not won yet!

Vote for ANY AND ALL that you would like to see. We always take note of which shows get 2nd/3rd place. Whichever gets the most votes we will release early access reactions on the Thursday when A Place Further Than The Universe's final episode goes public.

I haven't seen Hinamatsuri but Land of the Lustrous and Ping-Pong the Animatino are so unique compared to most anime. I really hope one of these wins, but at least if they lose let it be to GTO

GTO is a classic. I was hesitant to start it (back in 2015) since it was so old (anime came out in 1999), but looking back I’m glad I took the time to watch it. It’s hilarious, sweet and filled with many life lessons.

PLEEEEASE Watch Land of the Lustrous, it's absolutely beautiful and will provide some deep character development. It's maybe the best CG anime to date, and it would be a waste if you guys didn't react to it. Ping-Pong the animation is an option? And it's getting this many votes? Wtf. They're already reacting to Haikyuu, some of us aren't sports anime fans so it would be nice to get something non sports related.

Ping Pong the Animation isn't just another sports anime though. It's one of the most impressive character studies I've seen to grace the medium. Not to mention that the art style and animation is so refreshingly unique. I'm not the biggest fan of sports anime either but Ping Pong is so much more than that. Don't knock it until you try it.

Im actually interested in all the options. But seeing as I like steins:gate the most and Caleb loved the original so much I'm only going for that. + im pretty sure Caleb is craving to watch steins;gate zero but can't because it didn't win the last poll :/

The fact that Ping Pong has been in at least 5 polls but always gets matched up against comedy giants is just rough. At this rate, they could put it in polls for another year and still never react to it lol. Also they went from cult classics to the most generic of shows in half of their slots.

Ping Pong is gonna lose in another Poll :( If people are unsure about watching it, cuz it looks off or whatever the reason may be...plsssss give it a chance. It's such a wonderful series, just masterfully directed and all done in a mere 11 episodes.

I hadn't heard of Hinamatsuri but it sounds really interesting! I voted for it and for Land of the Lustrous as I've heard good things about that one. Is SteinsGate Zero a sequel? I thought it was called SteinsGate? I haven't seen either so I'm curious if I'd need to first watch one over the other?

Sadly, PP is not for everyone, unlike most of the sports shows. It is the only anime I’ve ever dropped in the middle of ep. 3 because of the art style.

How is PPTA last :( It's so great and (more importantly) super short with its 11 episodes. I get that they are doing Haikyuu at the moment and that GTO is a (great) classic and the others are good too. But why do I feel like PPTA will never win? :( I'll be right back. Gonna cry a bit.

I really hope you will put Parasyte in a poll anytime in the future... Regarding this poll, I voted for GTO and Hinamatsuri. I'm really okay with both. Also probably highly unpopular opinion (pls don't kill me): I really don't want to see you guys react to Steins:Gate. I personally just don't feel like it's an Anime I want to see other people react to. I prefer to just watch it alone and maybe discuss it later. It's weird I don't know why I feel this way. So if it wins I won't watch the reactions but I will be happy for all the people that voted for it and who want to see those reactions.

Steins;Gate 0 is essentially a sequel to the first Steins;Gate (more like a midquel really). In any case the original Steins;Gate must be watched before 0 to understand the plot (also an extra episode called S;G Episode 23 beta needs to be seen before 0). If you haven't seen either yet I highly recommend them both, they are highly rated for a reason.

Let me just say this. Land of the Lusterous was my favorite anime last year behind Made in Abyss but Steins;Gate is my favorite series of all time. It has to be one of those two.

Yeah, there are two (?) Live Action adaptations and the first one at least is very good, comparable to the anime in quality I'd say - definitely my favorite live action adaptation. Manga is still by far the best (has a lot more material too), but I really Onizuka's VA so I'm looking forward to GTO reactions/discussion and excuse to rewatch the series.

I totally agree with Parasyte! I think some people put them off watching it, because they heard that it had a lot of gore, but personally, if they got through Made in Abyss, they should handle it swimmingly. It's really not that bad after the first ep lol

Okay, now I've had some time to think about it and I'm even more confused. So, guys, why GTO? Don't get me wrong, it's good, but... just good? Not amazing or exceptional, deep or mind-blowing, though a decent school/SoL/comedy show. But the main reason I'm asking is this. If someone would ask me: "I have nothing to do on the weekends and want to watch something, is GTO alright?" I would say "Sure, it's okay, go for it", but here, for this channel? It's forty-three weeks! Just a bit over what it would take to watch every other show in this poll, combined together! It would end in Jully 2019! Good grief, just writing down this date sends a shiver down my spine... For the most part, I just don't get the hype around this show. Except for a couple of strong moments and, of course, the iconic "GTO-faces", I can't recall anything of note about it. Okay for a 1-2 course series, but kind of iffy for almost year-long commitment. Oh yeah, and to make things even worse for myself, went and looked at other long-running series, that I watched around the same time. Hajime no Ippo, Hikaru no Go, Neo Ranga... Kill me now (T_T)
