Just a small note, it was mentioned that Shiratorizawa has won this tournament and qualified for nationals for the past 3 years in a row. Meaning they were a strong team and won even when Ushiwaka wasn't on the team yet. I think this also coincides with when the Little Giant was at his prime, having won the tournament 4 years ago.

He was definitely a starter for all of his highschool career. Past 3 years does not include his current 3rd year though. It would mean Ushiwaka's 2nd year, his 1st year, and the year when he was still in junior high.

even if Ushijima was a starter in his 1 year (which he was) he only was in 2 tournaments till this one. He is in his 3rd year now.
