Gon in this episode was so chilling, I love it. Also Youpi and Pouf finding the Meruem's remains at the end and their shouts and rage show that even if things can evolve they return to their barbaric genes when put in extreme emotional/stressful positions. Youpi even said that screw letting them live they all die after what they did to the king.

funny story: when I watched the end part of this episode, I was laughing so hard since I thought that, there was no way the king could be dead, and what they found was a piece of rock and that they cry over a piece of rock. LOL, but next episode is going to be a fun ride.

Also, accusing people of homophobia because they find a scene with heavy erotic tones to it cringey is pretty fucked up. I get uncomfortable when they insert sex scenes into movies and TV shows. Some people just don't enjoy seeing that. Whether the ants were male or female was never even a factor being discussed.

It isn't about sex, it's about love. The scene is done dramatically with purpose. Whichever it is, you're projecting something. You should ask yourself why you feel uncomfortable.
