Guys don't forget epsidoe 1: Veldora was sealed 300 years ago - shizu is only like 50 years old. She's not the hero who sealed Veldora, shes just 'a hero' of a more recent time. There are any number of reasons for them to look or dress similar from mundane things like a traditional way for heros or even adventurers with a certain fighting style to dress to fantastical explanations like maybe all summoned heros look alike... maybe the demon lord who summoned her fought that original hero in the past and thought it would be ironic to slight her image by making shizu dress that way while doing evil things.

I think you could be mistaking shizu with someone else (for spoiler reasons i wont tell) Shizu came to this world in WW2 so she is in this world around 50-70 years depending on the Year Rimuru got reincarnated

Based on the Manga, that is exactly what goes on in there. In fact they even play chess.

Shizu's violent moments have nothing to do with the Demon Lord, they are the result of fusing with Ifrit, a being with a will trying to take control. At least that is how i remember it from the novel, but in the anime it really does look like the Demon Lord was responsible for the friend and pokemons death.

Ifrit and his kind are known as "high ranking spirits". And yes they are a type of summon seeing as they are summoned from the spirit world. They're Not actually evil in any way. There are even ones that are just all out good in nature. It just so happens that Ifrit is a violent type of spirit.
