Jeez it's not taking up a slot or anything, just for fun, you don't need to watch the reactions. And what's wrong with Slice of Life? A lot of those are some of the best shows in all of anime.

I'll concede that SoL doesn't really have action, at least not in the Shonen-battle sense, and "real Plot" can vary from person to person; did you mean SoL lacks progressive plot? Because while not a requisite, it can still be found in several SoL and most SoL at least have some other form of plot: Episodic, Flashback, Dramatic, etc. I find these new forms of storytelling refreshing, different and well, interesting. Last point, as Ambrr mentioned, this series isn't taking up a slot anyways.

They reacting to this doesn’t affect anyone tbh so Idk why people are hating. And Slice of Life has good character developments which the bros love. That’s just your taste man.
