We're coming up on the end of March Comes Like a Lion!!  As such we'll be getting this poll done in advance so we all know what's coming next.

This poll's theme is Character Drama!

Vote for ANY AND ALL that you would like to see. We always take note of which shows get 2nd/3rd place. Whichever gets the most votes we will release early access reactions on the Friday when March Comes Like a Lion's final episode goes public.

We should have Run with the Wind on one of these polls, it's an amazing drama and right up their alley. Instead we get Wotakoi losing badly for the 7th time (just Tuesday slot it Jacob!).

I really enjoyed Anohana up until I recently rewatched it. I hadn't realized how terrible the characters are and how overly melodramatic the anime is. It was quite the exhausting rewatch.

Really hoping that Rakugo gets its day in the sun. Both the art of rakugo storytelling and the story surrounding the characters are pretty fascinating to me. It also has a similar, if more melancholic overall, feel to it that March Comes in Like a Lion has or that's how I feel anyway (although the MC is a more energetic dude). Does anyone else sort of feel that way? Not that it doesn't also give you room to breathe. It doesn't have the same sort of comedy, but there are moments of genuine happiness for the characters, in case anyone is wondering.

Wow I thought I was okay in this area, but all I have seen of this list is 6 episodes of Rakugo. Still, you guys should give Run With the Wind a poll spot, I'm fairly certain it would count as a character drama. After being a viewer so long, I expected this kind of poll, so I will patiently wait for another show to end for Demon Slayer

It's not even the best anime of the year let alone the past decade. Typical shounen with more blood and average writing at best. The animation is the only excellent part of the series.

I think it would've won long ago if one of them hadn't seen it already. So I'm just meh on it since I didn't like their One Punch Man reactions that much because of it either (They were fine, I didn't dislike them - I just like all other reactions way more). It's just more fun if they both don't know what they are getting into.

It's already been shown that Jacob doesn't remember EVERYTHING and it's still a good time. Look at the first season of March Comes In Like a Lion or Berserk. But i guess AnoHana is pretty unforgettable, to me anyway. That also doesn't stop it from being a good discussion if one has seen it. Let me get cynical for a sec...but it just shows to me that a majority of people don't seem to be here for that and don't care about much of what they say, which is sad.

Don't think I follow, but okay. Domestic na Kanojo was fine, because of the "plot". Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso, Berserk and BokuMachi discussions I really disliked. Can't remember if we had any other half-blinds from the top of my head.

Since Rakugo won please mods if possible let them know to at least watch the blu-ray version of the first episode since what was 48 mins in tv is 82 mins on blu-ray thus adding a tons of content they couldn't fit in tv version due to the time slot. There are good subs out for the blu-ray version for both seasons just different groups sadly.

I... ... ... ... ...I actually cannot believe what I'm seeing. Like... I've been voting for Rakugo ever since it was first included in one of these polls. Which was... *I went back to one of my own comments from November of 2018 to check* "on a 4k milestone poll created on October 23, 2017" So... It's actually kind of surreal to see it win after two years of other series coming in first. Wow. P.S. Even though I haven't watched the series myself, and even though one of the Bros has already seen it, I now feel obligated to vote for Anohana for any future poll it appears in. Anohana fans have waited long enough.
