Nrancia's "Trish is me!!" always hits me right in the feels.

Leblanc

I know how hyped i was after watching this episode i cant wait to see how They like it.

Peter Senior

Mista was only conflicted about getting on because he would have been the 4th on the boat. When Abbacchio stepped on, he was sure he wanted to get on

Envyus

I don't think King Crimson's effect is global. Or else more people would notice it. The Range is large no doubt, but I doubt it's global.

MAN do I wish that Araki kept the idea of Fugo being a double-crosser. Because the Boss and company ordering Fugo to kill his own friends would've been a great conflict to tackle. Instead of him just.....getting yeeted out of the plot. BI

Man Bruno fighting back after his spine has been severed, that's some Jotaro level plot-armor!

Kinglier

I mean I get it. Araki felt super sad when he was thinking up that idea.

honestly it's a whole lot more interesting that he didn't just keep him around out of obligation. he actually let one of his characters make a legitimate choice. Also, I disagree with the common idea that it has anything to do with him being too powerful. King Crimson would beat him easily because he cannot be affected by the virus while skipping time. I think rather that it was a way of preventing the group from getting too large and unwieldy to write fights around once trish gained her stand.

Derrick C. Shields

Yeah, I've always actually really liked Fugo's decision here. But that's with the caveat of Shameless Purple Haze existing and giving Fugo a legitimate end to his arc (and "Golden Heart, Golden Ring", but that's not in English). Within the context of Vento Aureo - and free of the context that Fugo was originally going to be a traitor - I think it shows that there are other ways to lose a member of your team other than death. For the entire time I was reading the manga, I kept hoping Fugo would triumphantly return and assist the group in their hour of need! ...But it never happens. It feels very somber and unique to me, though I suppose some see it as just an excuse. Don't worry though, you don't have to "disagree" with anybody on this, since it's a fact that Araki both got rid of Fugo and backed off on the traitor plotline because of personal emotional reasons, not overpowered Stand-related problems. Plus, I agree with you, if the boss thought Purple Haze would be such an issue - which I don't think it would be - Fugo would simply become a priority kill and (probably) disposed of easily.

Jermaine Tito

The fact that the Boss didnt kill fugo even though it would have been very easy to is something araki wove into later moments in a very interesting way: Diavolo actively avoids unnecessary conflict. He was undoubtedly listening to the whole conversation and knew bruno didnt reveal his ability, so he doesn't have any reason to fear Fugo if he is truly unwilling to fight for idealism rather than practicality. He refuses to kill a cleaning lady just because she caught a glimpse of him in the shadows. He doesn't let doppio kill a taxi driver who was being an asshole because he knows he didnt see the photo, and he is unwilling to let his disgust at being disrespected allow him to expose himself to Risotto. He is oddly merciful, because he never acts solely on emotion. He only takes actions he believes are necessary to furthering his goals. And both his goals and what he believes to be necessary are 100% insane, but in practice they are also very very effective. EDIT: one extra thing from the end of the discussion: pretty much any stand being good against king crimson is dependent on their ability to hit him dead on before he predicts their attack and skips time. This is an interesting thing to keep in mind for the future.

Ohhhhh, is this scene counting Trish as one of those on the boat? Oh, god, I'm dumb. This has always been something that confused me actually. I always thought Mista was waiting for Abbacchio because whoever got on first would be "choosing themselves from four" - referring to Mista's cake fit from earlier. But this makes much more sense. Lol, I think I've missed Mista's point this whole time. Though it is funny that since Mista waited, the number four had absolutely no connection to his choice at all, no matter how you look at it.

Derrick C. Shields

For me, it's when he's pleading with Bruno to order him to get on the boat. He sounds so scared and desperate. :(

I just find it hilarious that the reason Mista only speaks up after Abbacchio decides to join Bruno is because he didn't want to be the fourth person to step onto that boat since Trish, Bruno and Giorno were already on it.

Jermaine Tito

this scene is actually really funny in a lot of ways when you realize all of his previous worried expressions were solely about being the fourth person on. Mista is ride or die from the jump. That's why he's my favorite!

Heart of Steel

He's erasing time. How is that not global lol. screw global, that's universal!

Envyus

Cause if it was global everyone would notice it. Likely Time is only skipped in an area close to him. Maybe about the size of the Island. King Crimson is also one of the few stands I can see that could beat Dio's The World. As he would see when the Time stop would happen and could skip over it.

Anonymous

People probably do notice it, however it can be as short as fractions of a second that time is erased. In this episode it was a larger amount of time (about 5 second) so that would be noticeable
