Super excited for next week's episode!

Scheelite is a gem native to Japan (some crystals have been found that weigh up to 0.5kg in a single crystal). It is CaWO4, but, you can react away most of it. I think the big problem will be making actually shaping the Tungsten, since you can't really melt it down. It has the highest melting point, so you can't really cast it (it will melt anything you try to cast it in) and you can't get it hot enough to even soften it to a point where you could start forging it.. I think they make the tools by a process like pouring cement, so will be interesting to see how Senku processes the Tungsten.

The roadmaps remind me of modded minecraft crafting recipes.

This show really gives you an appreciation for just how far the human race has come. Every episode seems to pay loving tribute to some human endeavor that cost real people a lot of real time, sweat, blood, and tears.

I'm BARELY ahead in the manga, so I don't know if it happens, but I really want a shoutout in particular to Marie Curie for some specific reason. I don't know what utility radiation could have in a world without easy access to inches-thick lead walls, but this is definitely the kinda story that would love to give a nod to a person who quite literally died for science.

About the possibility of Tsukasa’s people coming on a sabotage mission... My theory is that Tsukasa’s empire won’t attack with anything smaller than full force right now because the kingdom of science has managed to convince them it’s too much of a risk ( far more than it actually is). Like... Tsukasa definitely knows they do not have enough gunpowder to make a huge impact but they could still have enough to shoot someone and they may have poison gas and if so; are willing to use it. Then there was the fact that Hyouga attacked with a team and then returned without most of them. WOULD he have told Tsukasa he killed them himself?

lol seeing their reaction to tungsten made me look up scheelite just to see if it was an actual thing or not XD turns out once again the show is sticking to the real stuff and scheelite really is a type of stone used to make tungsten (no idea if you make it but you get the point)
