We're coming up on the end of Dr Stone!!  As such we'll be getting this poll done in advance so we all know what's coming next.

This poll is wholesome themed!

Vote for ANY AND ALL shows that you would like to see us react to! We always take note of which shows get plenty of votes, but don't win. Whichever gets the most votes we will release early access reactions on the Sunday when Dr Stone's final episode goes public.

Keep your hands off Eizouken is not only a immediate contender for anime of the year but also a masterclass in helping you appreciate animation as a both a art style and profession without being preachy. It is unbelievably charming and invokes childlike wonder with it's enthusiasm towards animation and the passion behind it. So for the love of all that is holy watch it.

I guarantee when they start posting any of these on patreon it will only get a maximum of 20 upvotes or less. I have seen other anime they are doing barely get any upvotes. I was hoping to get a reaction to Bunny girl senpai or Oresuki. They are some good wholesome anime that I feel would get good reception but hey whatever (depending on your definition of "wholesome" of course. One is wholesome but serious and one is wholesome and comedy)

I definitely appreciate that there are more wholesome shows being considered because the channel is so oversaturated with more action and drama type shows like Hajime no Ippo, Jojo, Demon Slayer, Dr. Stone, Beastars, Kill la Kill, Vinland Saga, Parasyte, Dororo, Monogatari, Paranoia Agent, etc. etc. More wholesome shows thrown into the mix is a breath of fresh air!

I'm in the same boat as you here. I really hope Hibike and Fruits Basket make it in another poll but I'm rooting hard for Eizouken for two reasons. 1: it's loveable characters and presentation are some of the best I've seen in years and 2: it does a amazing and fun job at teaching the audience more ways to appreciate the art that is animation without being preachy to a point that it has honestly made me enjoy/appreciate certain shows or sequences more than I did before.

I might be the only person on the planet that couldn’t get through the first episode of Eizouken, but I had a feeling when I saw the poll that it was gonna win. I have a feeling that you guys will really enjoy it (cause everyone on the planet other than me did LOL)

The MC's voice kinda sucks imo. And everyone besides the main 3 kinda feel like throwaway characters to fit the current plot. But also, the series is a whole lot of nothing. All style no substance, imo. Episode 4 was built up as something huge too, which shouldve filled the lack of substance, but the portrayal of the animation with the crowd seeing the animation in real life etc was super heavy handed. I also think the background tracks kinda make a lot of scenes feel really awkward. And their random "imagination" sketches are exclusively something cool to look at. The actual content during them doesnt really leave an impact or push the plot forward much at all. This'd be fine if they were shorter, but some of them take up like 1/4th of the episode.

Yeah! Garrett Crespo (aka Steel Frodo) is the only one I've seen do it and he's stopped doing reactions, so I think he's removed it so I can't even go back and watch it again. Ouran, especially the dub, really needs more love in my opinion. It's a classic RomCom anime.
