I loved this show so badly that I picked up the manga after the season ended. Season 2 will be a treat, based on what I've read in the manga. Be prepared for more amazing things!

Can't wait for season 2 mannnn! I think the best points of this series is exactly like what happens in this episode. Where it feels like everyone has some sort of purpose and they are building things that will improve their livelihood and actually teaching the watchers how real science works. If I was showed this anime in science class back in my childhood I would be even more interested in science than I previously was. I would want to go to school just to go to science class lmao. But yea although I do have my complaints about it not being as animated as I would like I still very much enjoy it for what it has to offer. By animation I mean they simply use an image in place of parts where they could have animated that specific image to make it feel more realistic. I just don't like how, from my point of view, they seem to be cutting corners with animating specific things. Although since season 1 did so well maybe they will put a little more work into season 2 and not have as many still frames but instead actually animate majority of it. Doesn't have to be amazing animation cause it really isn't needed but I want it to feel more realistic instead of feeling like I partly just watched colored manga panels.

Makes me think of One Piece where Luffy talks to Arlong. “I can’t navigate. I can’t use a sword. I can’t cook. I can’t even lie. If it weren’t for my friends I wouldn’t even be alive!” You could say that Luffy isn’t smart like Senku but he is smart in the way that he knows how to read people and delegate what he sure as hell can’t do. Just a thought. Like he literately is like you guys said. “I trust you completely. This is your thing. I can’t do it the way you can so I’m gonna just leave it in your hands” Of course Luffy does it in a much simpler way cause he is Luffy but... Yeah...
