Schenkopp removed Katerose from the mission *because he cares*, he'd regret it if she died in that mission right after he found out about her. I don't know why you found that scene so confusing.

Wish their discussions focus more on analyzing the characters instead of ship numbers, the battles are well and good but it's the character writing where Lotgh truly shines.

Fully agree. Lately I feel the bros have been focusing on the wrong things or misreading cues in episodes. They are off their game and I don't like it. For example, what the narrator specifically said was "If Yang knew what Bucock intended to do, Yang would have rushed to his side and fight alongside him. Then for the first time in his life, Yang will be fighting with no viable strategy and lose the battle". I cannot understand how the bros saw it as the narrator prepping Yang for failure in the future.
