To be fair, I didn't know about the others either first time reading it. And I think that was on purpose. Pandora is unknown up to this point and would probably still be "unknown" if Emilia hadn't gone through this trial.

The translation for Vanity was changed from Vainglory. Also Archbishops don't necessarily serve the authority they have. Like Betelguese serving Satella the Witch of Envy while having the Authority of Sloth.

actually regulus has stated on this backstory when he encountered Fortuna and Guese that he was indeed the sin archbishop of Greed. He introduced him self as "sin archbishop of the witch's cult representing greed, Regulus Corneas" at the end of episode 17.

In our world the 7 deadly sins were streamlined by the pope. (Thanks history channel for that random fact, lol) the pope combined the original x and Simplified it to 7 deadly sins.

Small Point of Order: While Regulus being Pandora's Bishop of Vanity certainly does fit thematically, given his mannerisms, and the slight deference he does show to Pandora (in contrast towards anyone else); he does introduce hims self as "Sin Archbishop of the Witches Cult, representing Greed..." at around the 7:40 mark (when the episode switches back to Emilia's trial).
