I’m so so surprised for this choice. I watched one or two episodes years ago, not enough to tell how they progress the story but definitely have some amazing visuals.

To quote Jacob, "I feel like an idiot for not finishing this." I remember watching a few episodes back when it came to the states, but for some odd reason I never finished it. It's a super gorgeous and stylish anime. I look forward to watching this with them! 💜

So glad to see you guys doing this one. The only mistake I made with this anime was watching the first part while I was sick with a 102 fever. With that art style and the fever it was a bit of a trip.

Have you guys seen Zetsuen no Tempest btw? That one is heavily inspired by Hamlet and The Tempest by Shakespeare among other things. I feel like you guys would really enjoy it.

I remember watching this in the Navy in 2006 when this show was still new, everyone in my barracks room who loved watching anime were in awe with this art style.
