KyoAni actually did confirm that a new Hibike project was in the works, whether it's a new season or movie. Though unfortunately, it was before the tragic attack took place and we haven't heard any news about updates for it yet. Some of the project files might've even been destroyed in the fire as well. Also, other than the two movie sequels, there are also two recap movies. The first one is skippable as it only refines some of the voice, animation and scenes, but the second adds a ton of extended or additional segments regarding Asuka, and does grant us more insight into her situation from a much wider perspective. Furthermore, we actually get to see the performance in the nationals in that movie. I don't think it necessarily needs to be reacted to, but a personal viewing of it as a re-watch would be definitely nice. Another thing that I feel like should be pointed out that's long due, is that the different years are indicated by the colours on their tie and in-school shoes. Green represents the third-years, blue represents the second-years and red represents the first-years. Of course, since the third-years are graduating, it will be transferred to the upcoming first-years as they cycle the colours. I don't think this detail was noticed nor were they notified regarding this as they had a general confusion as to who were playing when the third-years were. That's my input for now, can't wait to go along further on this journey with the two remaining movies.
