It doesn't show it as well as the original but when she bumps them/falls in the original they both try to catch her aka arms = hugging her type deal. Sounds like your cat needs an anime arc too :D

You guys are in for such an emotional ride!!! This story is unlike any romcom you've ever seen; Such a treasure!!!! And the dub is glorious, Kyo's voice actor in particular did a superb job!!!

I do love the original show still, but the remake is more faithful to the manga. So I enjoy them separately. Overall, I do find the dubbed original way more quotable than the remake. So much of it resonated with me and some of that is lost in the remake. But I loved the manga, and I'm grateful to see it come to life. The characters have so much depth. I hope you both enjoy the story as much as I do.

Your reactions to this 1st episode were everything I wanted. I really do love how the 1st episode doesn't really give you much to go on about the overall story. I can't wait to see what you guys think about the opening. I am so happy you already love a lot of these characters and I can't wait for you to meet more of them. Also Tooru is 1 of my favorite female main characters. Finally this is the last time I will say this but I do really wish you had decided to react to the Dub selfishly because I love it but also because it's fantastic. I loved the reaction and analysis. Just to clear some things before you start the show... 1) Nothing and nobody is what it seems. Many revelations will be made even in 3rd season. Please pay attention to every word and scene. 2) It's definitely not a reverse harem, it's tricky but it'll be clearer later hehe. Thank you for reacting!!
