These weeks of waiting hurt

Mahito is purely a curse but the other 3 curses come from non human fears the ocean forests and the earth whereas mahito comes from the fear and hatred of other humans and curses powers tend to be related to what they're manifested from like Jogo (Mt fuji) being volcanos and fire the Forest curse creating the field of flowers that made gojo losing his will to fight so take from that what you will wont post spoilers but yeah mahito is purely a curse just a curse fueled from hatred and fear of your fellow man

Also your on the right track about paying attention to the movie and mahito being there great reaction guys! Things your a little confused on right now will be explained soon 😁

Yes, if you're wondering who Nanami's VA is, it's Kenjiro Tsuda; the same voice as Overhaul from MHA, Hannes from AoT, Atomic Samurai from OPM, and Seto Kaiba from Yu-Gi-Oh!

whoooo nanago hahaha

Nanamin!!!!!!!!!

It's already been strongly implied that the Jujutsu Sorcerers are suffering from a huge lack of manpower, Jacob. They're sending out students to potentially life and death situations and they only seem to gain 3-4 students per year. That's why Nanami probably can't just call for backup.

That & Gojo is still keeping Yuji’s “resurrection” a secret. Cause if the higher ups find out Yuji “came back from the dead” at best they’d stop letting Yuji get Sukuna’s fingers cause the whole thing is based on Yuji gathering all 20 fingers then sacrificing himself to destroy Sukuna, but if they believe that Sukuna can just revive Yuji like have unlimited lives in a video game they’d just believe they’re making Sukuna even stronger. At worst they’d just kill Yuji again to make sure Sukuna can’t get his fingers like they already did once. And also to keep the power structure the same. As for the lack of manpower it’s probably due to death rates of sorcerers or some of them doing like Nanami and leaving the world of Jujustu. Add that you have to be born with the ability to use cursed energy or like Yuji you have to fuse with a cursed object which can kill you. And another reason there’s probably a shortage is the Higher Ups/Hierarchy of Jujutsu Sorcerers. Remember Gojo wants to take down the higher ups and great families cause they’re limiting sorcerers & clinging to power instead of actually making things easier/better. Maki is a great example, the Zen’in family won’t even acknowledge her as a sorcerer because she can’t use cursed energy. Another is based around their treatment of Yuji. He would’ve been execute right away if it wasn’t for Gojo’s interference/plan to use Yuji. And even though they “agreed” to it, as soon as Gojo was out of sight for even a few seconds they sent Yuji to his death, and sent Nobara & Fushiguro with him. Imagine what they’ve done to other Sorcerers who didn’t have someone as powerful as Gojo behind them.

It's crazy how many things they get wrong. They overthink things that other people just take at face value which you're supposed to do. lol

Naaaaaaaaanamin~

Nanamin!!! CV: Kenjiro Tsuda 😊😊😊😊

My favorite thing about Nanamin was that distinction between children and adults. Something that always bothered me with shonen was the use of high school freshman to resolve these massive conflicts. Granted, that's the main target audience and "power fantasy" sells and all that and by no means does being younger equate to being incapable or useless in certain situations but why is the first go to always "guess we're using child soldiers now." So shoutout to the author for having a character that goes "I know you're able and capable but certain burdens aren't meant to be thrust on out so soon"

I don't think mahito is saying he's a human, he is the curse/spirit that embodies humans' fear of humans? That was how I took it anyway...

Romaniablack

Wait, he's KAIBA?! I never watched Yu-Gi-Oh! because my brother was obsessed and you know how siblings are, but if I had known that all those years ago....

Eronthaboy

yeah that's a major refreshing thing I like about This one and My Hero and a couple of other "Newer" shonen. The Adults who are training and helping the children aren't all either incompetent or corrupt, sure some of them are, but some of them genuinely want to help keep these kids safe while training them. cause other anime would've had Gojo be the "strongest" sorcerer then have him killed off really quick to establish these curses as ultimate level threats that only the main teenage heroes can take down. Also just the fact that the adults who truly want them to grow are like "This world is shit, I'm here to protect you from it as long as possible and if I can change it to make it better for you." cause Gojo literally said he could easily kill all the higher ups, but instead he's teaching the new generation so that they can change the messed up society that the older generations created/maintain even though the world is changing around them and all the higher ups care about is keeping a hold on their power

This episode has the most underrated jujutsu stroll, don't @ me.

You are right in your comments about how the distinctions between curses, curse users and jujutsu sorceres are arbitrary but Mahito is a pure curse, born from negative energy, its just that he looks most human since he was born from negative emotions towards other humans. But once again im glad you saw the bigger picture of the point. But yea since only curse users can see him he is 100% a curse

Anonymous

Also just to mention something again, Mahito is a part of the big curses, but i feel as if you forget that they ALL think of themselves as the REAL HUMANS, that includes the Plant one, Jogo, Mahito and etc. they all think of that and mahito is just the perfect fit for that group

laras

Yes, Mahito is a curse not human. Glad that you love Nanamin!! Also Yoshino said in the beginning that he doesn’t want to harm people (push button) he hates but to people that hates him
