Ah yes, the rare male tsundere!! Hahaha, lots of fun. The manga itself is pretty old, and it has a TON of those classic anime romance tropes in it, so be prepared! :P

Male tsundere's are not that rare are they? Maybe in anime I guess. They're everywhere in JRPGs haha

I truely believe Kyo is THE male tsundere, I learned what a tsundere was because of Kyo, it was in 2002 reading the manga

I was refusing to watch the 2019 version of Fruits Basket because I'm so attached to the old one but watching it with you guys has been a great experience. The nostalgia is so real and the characters still feel the same but with great animation and music.

i'd HIGHLY recommend watching it, the plot is elevated to a whole new level since it's adapting the manga faithfully, and seasons 2 and 3 specifically are some of the best anime out there, despite not being a part of the 2001 version.

it's so crazy to see new people watch this show completely blind because they just have NO IDEA how the series just gets elevated to a new level, like they're in for such a crazy ride with this one and have no idea

Your reaction to the OP 😭 yes!!!! The entire music selection for this show is unparalleled in my opinion. Also, Kyo and Yuji’s rivalry is so good, it makes the show even more enjoyable. I’m already so excited for the next episode, things are gonna start getting real from here on so be ready.

I am so happy that you love Kyo already because he's my 2nd favorite character after Tooru. I love this opening so much and the best part of the openings/endings/music in the show is how much emotion is put into the music. Also some of these theories/predictions/hopes and analysis in this reaction was just… :-) Finally I couldn't stop smiling throughout the entire reaction it was so enjoyable and was also heartwarming. Also the comedy in this show is fantastic and I can't wait for you to see more of that comedy and where the story goes. You are in for a wild ride. <3
