FINALLY next week is season 2..this is when the anime REALLY starts and turn into a very great show..be prepare for greatness..IM HYPE!!

omg I'm so happy they didn't pick up on mori being a mafia member after seeing the photo, it made everything even more entertaining lmao, I love mori... bsd is originally a manga series but they adapt multiple light novels as flashbacks too!... whenever they guess something incorrectly it hypes me up for the reveal... also them liking fitzgerald right away is so goood the thing about abilities not being specific or detailed bothered me a bit at first, especially because I watched bsd right after bnha where quirks are the main focus of the story, but I learned it's just the author's style... unlike some other shows he uses them mainly in specific situations and doesn't make it all about them, I personally don't mind cause the characters and plot outweigh it plus I think you can just interpret the abilities more freely this way... after that discussion tho, I can't wait for fitzgerald's ability reveal lmao next week finally...

Oh my goodness. The reaction to this episode was absolutely fantastic! This is one of my fave episodes of the entire anime so far and I'm really glad y'all enjoyed it so much! It's exciting and engaging from start to finish and it only continues to get better from there! Fitzgerald is absolutely delightful. I love him. You want to hate him, but you can't help but love him. He's got so much charm! I'm so excited for you guys to see more of him! Lucy was definitely given extra creepy animation, but gosh darnit. She is the absolute cutest! I love her. Mori is really cool and I also can't wait for you to see more of him! He's actually very intimidating despite his foolish nature when it comes to Elise and you'll eventually find out who Elise really is. I'm beyond excited for the start of season 2 and the introduction of more Port Mafia (I know you like to bash them, but they're really cool. lol) and Guild members!

Can’t wait until next week cause I’m rewatching season 2 myself and it’s absolutely insane. They drop a good amount of the comedy (not all of it), make the Port Mafia actually terrifying and efficient, & up the stakes & bloodshed. it almost feels as if season 1 & 2 different anime in terms of tone. Also season 2 has way more world building & backstory, season 1 was more “individual cases with a overarching story”, Season 2 is more “here’s the plot that this season will focus on.” Also the Guild is terrifying and as much as you love Francis the anime won’t let that blind you to how horrifying he & the rest of the Guild is.

I know sometimes the comedy doesn't land for you guys and you like when it's more serious, and the next for episodes are called the Dark Era arc for a reason, so I'm going to be thoroughly enjoying your reactions to that. When this show tones down the comedy, it can pack quite a few gut-punches, and this episode was just a teaser for what season 2 has in store. Can't wait!
