I'm so excited to see there reactions to the show especially how quickly they will fall for the characters.

Man this episode has some really good messaging and discussion about kindness. Also I was really surprised at the sincerity and emotion behind the flashback with her mother and the idea that everyone has something good about them. I think some people might see this as Tohru being idealistic but to me it's more that she can past bad things about people because she realizes that anyone can be good given the opportunity. She's such a great protagonist and I love how much the bros love her. Also talking about shipping already is great/bad because of how complicated it gets in regards to romantic ships. I found the discussion about Kyo and Yuki very interesting and in some ways on point. Can't wait for them to see more of this story slowly unfold. I love the reaction keep up the great work. :-) <3

Something about this remake is kinda bothering me and I can't put my finger on it. The production value is good, and it's an overall solid adaptation, but a lot of comedic and emotional beats that I remember being really strong in the manga and original anime are falling flat. I don't know if the direction is weaker, or if it's nostalgia, or just because I'm much older than when it originally released. Is anyone else feeling similar, or is it just me?

Feels like Sohma family should've been translated into Sohma clan. Family isn't wrong but it gives a very different impression when in actuality the Sohma characters are pretty distantly related.

I think it being an anime adaption, they do have to worry about tone. The manga put comedy and sorrow together, the older anime adaption focused more on the comedy, and this one the sorrow. At least that’s my own opinion!
