i wouldn't really call Kagura a Yandere, i'd just say she's really violent with him lol, i think it's a different thing. but yeah i hated her in this episode lol, the good thing is her character only gets better from here

Yeah, Kagura's introduction is... an introduction. That's the best way that we can describe this

Kagura isn't yandere. It's just that the boar spirit makes her violent whenever she is passionate. Now I understand not liking her for say. Not giving up on Kyo because he isn't interested and trying to force a relation with him. But again it's partially the boar spirit. I do love where they take her after this. Because like many her introduction isn't very pleasing to me. Physical violence as humor isn't my thing. Except the Yuki and Kyo thing, that's concentual fighting as a sport sort of thing. But I can say there is more to Kagura then is shown right here.

Tohru doesn't want to be like Kagura. She just appreciates how hard Kagura tries. She's not wanting her as a role model. But she has jealousy that she can love so openly. And I can understand that.

Your guys reactions are great. Either right on the nose or completely off but still great for the little context given in the episode. The clues your picking up on are on the right track. But I'm so excited to see how your perspective changes on some of the characters.

Have no fear Kagura gets great character development eventually! That being said shes still one of my least favorite characters in my personal opinion lol

I wouldn't call Kagura yandere (just as I wouldn't call Kyo tsundere, either). There's so much more to both of their characters that their actions and feelings are much deeper than their initial characters seem.

I haven't finished the show yet in later seasons. But I hate Kagura and it's hard to get through any episode with her in it tbh.
