I am SO excited for the next seasons! As soon as I watched this episode a few months back I began reading the manga. I can't wait for that stone statue guy to be introduced! I really like his character! I don't think it should be that much longer until season 3 will starts airing. Maybe another 4 to 6 months? Earlier if we are lucky. So who knows, maybe Dr Stone season 3 will be on the poll after the next three shows in this slot are finished?! :) Either way, can't wait!! I think the next seasons will be even better than the first two!

He didn't need to be alive when he went in. The freezing is 100% going to kill him. Freezing cells will absolutely destroy them no matter what. The idea is to restore the cells to life with petrification. Just like how Mirai was already completely braindead but the petrification repaired her body.

I don't really think that interpretation of what the author intended is correct but your welcome to back up your statement. I just mean that it seems more like artistic liberty to me then anything else.
