Talking about Yuki saying the thing about not liking people that depend on others leans me towards thinking Yuki is directing that dislike towards himself / self hate over his own reliences.

I came to that same conclusion when they pointed it out! For some reason I forgot Yuki said that, but during this time of his growth, he is pretty bratty and contradictory toward his own weaknesses.

I am very sad because they missed the most important lines in this ep that Shigure said(thought) in last part. And the Yuki’s line which bros discussed is completely not important. The translation changed original nuance. That did not have meanings like they thought.

What a great breather episode after the heavy stuff last episode. Also I forgot to talk about the opening in my last comment but I love it so much being really upbeat having beautiful and wholesome visuals and a fantastic song. Seeing this lakeside place reminds me of how beautiful this adaption is. I love the interactions and dialogue between Tohru, Yuki and Kyo and getting a better look at their characters. Also the Jason joke is kind of the best. The stuff between Shigure and Hattori is really heartwarming especially letting him peacefully rest since he almost never does. It’s impressive how grand and large Ayame’s presence is when he shows up and I love how much he wants Hattori to be happy. I really love what Hattori thinks to himself about wanting the younger generation to live their lives and not become cynical because of how it fits with his characters experiences. Finally the Yuki thing definitely feels like a self-loathing thing. Also I love the stylistic designs of stuff in the ending and I like the softness of the song. Great reaction and I can’t wait for the next episodes reaction. Keep up the great work. :-) <3
