Gege is so efficient with his arcs. This could have been a random side adventure, but it set up some important stuff for later. Looking forward to the movie! It's a prequel, but it's cannon and important for understanding the next season.

I recommend Jacob and Caleb read between the lines with the conversation at the end between Gojo and Utahime, the "drinking party" was a metaphor to cover up what was really being discussed in light of there possibly being a spy within range. Additionally, the end of an era is upon us (for now). Thank you so much guys for reacting to this series, it's my favorite in recent years, and (as a manga reader) it's PAINFUL how long we'll likely be waiting for Season 2. You two have had the best reactions I've seen for both this show and HxH, so I just want to say thanks.

Like you said, Nobara used Hairpin before. A lot of people mistake Nobara talking to the audience instead of to the enemies because of the way she said it.

The money Mei-Mei received from Gojou was implied to be a bribe for recommending all of Gojou's students for First Grade. Remember, a teacher CANNOT recommend their own students. And Mei-Mei said in a prior episode, she doesn't do anything unless she is paid.

Great reactions guys. Having read the manga, can't wait for season 2 whenever it gets renewed. If S1 was 10/10, S2 will be a 20/10. It will be on par with Code Geass S2 which was an insane rollercoaster
