i'm not sure if you guys figured this out in the discussion portion, but i think Fushi was saying "it hurts" FOR Oniguma, he was feeling the pain of Oniguma, that's why he said "thank you", Oniguma was thanking March for helping him. Then later Fushi said "it hurts" when Parona fell, he is feeling their pain

Y'know... is things like this make me hate people. I'd actually have few issues with the sacrifices, if it was for a geniune belief system, but to just be for greed and to weaken the enemy... I can appreciate the logic and tactic, but I can't like it for that reason. Parona being a BA is always great. Also appreciate March has such a treasure for life: being sacrificed and Oniguma being a man-eater making no change to that

They really seem to get confused a lot with these first few episodes. I hope someone relays these corrections to them directly instead of them going on and just not understanding what they end up not getting right. Everyone wanted them to read through the my villain academia arc in the manga and apparently after all those comments somehow they apparently haven't heard about it. Seems like they don't get a lot these days about what the watchers try to say to them and it is frustrating to a certain point. Anyways, Fushi is feeling the pain of Oniguma and saying it hurts because that is what Oniguma is going through. Fushi said thank you specifically because that is what the bear was feeling and thanking March for what she is doing for Oniguma. I don't understand why Jacob said something about having wolf meat because why would they eat fushi just for him to return back to his normal stage. That was honestly so weird and out of place. The body doesn't just leave itself while Fushi turns into a new entirely different body. I can't think of any reason why that was ever said lol. Also Caleb said Oniguma might be a special entity itself because its healing itself but if you look at the entire scene when he said that you can see March has been taking the time to heal the wounds and help the bear out. That is exactly why it said thank you through Fushi. The vessel has opened is showing that it has formed a connection with the bear and has gained stimulation from it. I don't blame you guys for misunderstanding some things but it feels like you are confusing a lot in just these first episodes.

i really love the reactions but i do think sometimes they are so close to understanding something the show is trying to convey but then they'll just veer in the complete opposite direction with a theory 😭

Not knowing what's happening next and ricocheting around in wild theory land is half the fun of not being spoiled for a show. A wildly wrong theory does not need to be corrected or guided towards the correct answer. This is a reaction, not a classroom. Not knowing what's going to happen allows watchers the possibility of engaging more deeply with the material, catching more detail, synthesizing the info observed into theory. Whether theories are correct or incorrect is immaterial. It's all part of the fun of watching a show without knowing what's going to happen, or watching people react to a show where they don't know what's going to happen. *kicks soapbox aside* Sorry.

The comments section for reactions to shows like this are always a mess and I love you all for keeping it that way.
