I love seeing you assuming things because I can't wait to see your faces afterwards 😂😂😂 You're very perceptive for many things, mostly about characters. Just have in mind that there are many twists, it's not a show you can read on easily.

The reason why "Isuzu(依鈴)" is called "Rin" is because "suzu(鈴)" can also be read as "Rin" in Kanji characters.

They’re getting three doozy of episodes coming up. The dark horse one I’m waiting for them to see is episode 11 and how their views on Kagura change.

Great episode and I am always impressed by how more and more jam-packed the episodes become as the show goes on even if many of them have a lot of substance to them. I love how it continues right where the last episode left off with Tohru uncertain about what exactly Yuki was trying to tell her even if you could make guesses. Also his tears falling onto her face almost like she is crying will always be beautiful. Seeing the way Akito talks to people makes your skin crawl and would make anyone angry. I definitely do respect the way Haru dealt with him with but how dare he look down on my boy Haru. The conversation between Yuki & Tohru is so sweet and I love how because the things he was talking about are important to him they are important to her as well that just shows what a great relationship they have. It is so nice to see him becoming more comfortable with himself and others love that development. Also it’s adorable whenever she reacts to getting teased. Then the order from Yuki towards Kyo is so intense and I think does a perfect job of conveying the threat of Akito if his every other appearance didn’t do so. The Kyo stuff with the bracelet is really great. I love how with a slight change in perspective we get a better understanding of him as a character. Tohru’s empathy in these types of moments is always amazing. Also the moment on the beach is really sweet. I definitely agree that Akito talking about people deluding themselves is meant to emphasize his own delusions which he literally can’t see. Unfortunately it does push Tohru more into his line of fire. The stuff with Rin is probably the most intriguing part of the episode. The meeting with her is super intense especially with how angry she was. It was great getting to learn more of what her character is all about with her defensive attitude/anger. Also to me it always felt like that anger was also directed at herself as well as others. Her design is interesting because it is so different from designs in this show being very overtly sexual which also adds to the confidence she seems to have. Seeing Yuki so in control during the confrontation with Rin was great especially because she was deliberately trying to get under his skin. So many great points during your discussion here. Yuki becoming more genuine is so noticeable and I’m glad you pointed it out but I never thought of it partially being making that fake person of his more a part of himself that’s interesting. Thank you Caleb for bringing up the relatively fast character development of a lot of these characters compared to Tohru it’s fascinating. Because while she is developing it’s not nearly as fast because of the hard time she has facing her grief and complicated issues even if she is able to help others with that kind of thing she has a hard time with introspection. Some really interesting things you said about Rin we really know so little about her situation. I do love that because of how the show is written we can make educated guesses but good point about Yuki knowing more about her situation than us although I doubt he knows everything. Especially considering that she is hell-bent on not talking to anyone and being extremely secretive. Although I think her being more sexual must have something to do with her own problems. Also obviously horses represent freedom I knew that but I wasn’t thinking about that the 1st time I was watching so thanks for bringing it up. I think it’s hilarious that both of you think Kyohru has absolutely no chance even though you seem to love it because to me a lot of this is pointing towards that being the endgame relationship even if by the end of the story it’s only going to have just started/be starting. Simply because they will have gone through enough development to be ready for that. It is so fun to talk about the parallels and differences between Yuki and Kyo which is partially the whole thing with them because they are similar but also very different. Once again great reaction and discussion. Keep up the great work. :-) <3
