Pirone the Pinky Finger actually died a few episodes ago, but the confirmation of it was skipped in the anime adaptation. When Diablo redirected Razen's nuclear magic attack into the sky, Diablo made sure to have it be redirected to a monster flying in the sky that was using magic to not be detected. That is how Pirone died. Pirone was there on Clayman's orders to observe the situation, but because she died there, she was never able to give her report of how the army really died and of what really happened. Because of it, Clayman doesn't know that Rimuru has truly evolved into an Awakened Demon Lord. He also doesn't know that Rimuru is the one who singlehandedly destroyed the army.

Beretta isn't an animated golem. Beretta is a black colored Greater Demon who uses a magisteel doll as its body in the physical realm.

For Beretta's appearance as a demon (aka before fusing with the doll-like magisteel body made by Rimuru), you can see it fully in the first opening of season 2. Here's the watch part of the youtube link to the opening in question, on Crunchyroll's youtube channel: watch?v=XQqQqK9ufo8 Seen in the opening from 0:55 to 1:04. Beretta is the demon summoned by Rimuru for Ramiris. Beretta has the same clothes, same black hair and same black eyes with golden pupils as Diablo when Diablo was summoned by Rimuru. Demons in this world don't have specific genders. Beretta used to appear as male, but changed how he appears (in this case only with the voice due to the doll body not showing gender) to feel more female-like because Beretta felt it to be more appropriate as a servant of Ramiris. Black Colored Demons in this world are ALL very eccentric and obsessed with being the epitome of anything they feel passionate about. They also don't seek power for themselves much. In other words, Diablo/Noir and Beretta have both actually spent centuries mastering how to be the perfect bulter/maid/servant/etc. just because they felt like it.

As I said last time this episode and the previous 2 are in need of some serious rewriting ... This is basically purely adapting the Novel, as these events were only just publishing in the manga when the story for s2 was being written and production started. That said the way the shuffled thing around was always head scratching for me. I can understand using the clown scenes and Ramiris to break up the conference but they moved things from the conference in such a strange manner

Also Demons in Slime dont have a set gender ... they are all fluid through they do seem to have preferred genders ... in the novel its more implied that Berreta is male, but the anime made it so he is more female.
