At this point, someone might be asking themselves "who got it worst" between Mitty, Prushka, and Irumyuui. The real question is, how bad is Riko gonna get it when it's her turn? The next arc hasn't really gotten underway in the manga yet, but man, somehow it's only gotten darker and more beautiful. More blessings and curses all around.

It's worth noting the Cradle of Desire gave Irumyuui everything she wished for - she wanted to be able to have children, she wanted her pet back, she wanted food for her people she wanted them to be healed from the pseudo-water and she wanted to stop being in physical pain... not so much a monkey's paw, more of just an overly efficient genie...

It's unfortunate the anime couldn't recreate the creepy art style used in the manga. The whole arc is a loooot more ominous in the manga.

Bondrew never was malicious. He didn't want to do harm, he didn't had fun doing harm. Everything he did had purpose. I even think he knew that Prushka was destined to be Rikos white whistle which was needed to fulfill everyones wishes. Riko wanted to go further and neede a white whistle. Bondrew wanted evolution or further development in his research. Prushka wanted to go on a journey and find friends. Reg wanted to learn about himself.
