"supernatural netherworld of Symbolism" Do you think that was where Akio was taking the duelists in his sex car?

Utena asked to be shown something eternal in order to restore her will to live. The implication has been up until now that "something Eternal" would be something positive. Instead what was shown was eternal suffering. But being Utena actually decides to do something about it. The scene where all the adults are asking a kid to save their daughters really hits. When I was a kid I was constantly told by adults that I and my generation would be the ones to fix Climate Change. 10 year old me was like "You have actual power as adults WHY DON'T YOU?" I think some adults recognize the problems but are too selfish/scared/overwhelmed with the enormity of the task to do the hard work of change. So they put it on kids. Who try a bit with their limited power as children but ultimately when they become adults they then do the same thing their parents did. I totally get art and literature being obsessed with the period of life where change is your entire world so changing the entire world doesn't seem like an impossibility.
