This episode made me want to vomit metaphorically, I got mad when I read the chapters, I got mad when I watched the episode for the first time and it’s still a slight inconvenience. Truly, this is the point MHA took a swan dive into rubbish and remained there.

That he was pass out tired is exactly the problem though. He was wearing himself down, at the pace he was going he might have eventually just passed out and been brought to AFO. He needs to rest and he needs a support network that at least ensures that he can keep himself in shape by taking on at least some of the burdens he was putting on himself.

He’s gotten immeasurably more powerful since his last L. The addition of float, blackwhip, danger sense, smokescreen, and Fah Jin have expanded and improved his Kit to the most pint that, imo, he could probably have beaten prime all night. It’s not unreasonable for him to think that he doesn’t just need to do this on his own, but that he COULD.

I will genuinely never understand why official subtitled sources aren’t ever used on this channel lol. I just don’t get why they’d intentionally increase their risk of misunderstanding things because of mistranslations ripped from unofficial sources. That “you’re even drawn differently” line from Bakugo is a prime example. The series has made a few meta nods here and there over the seasons but nothing so blatantly overt before, and it feels so weird and tonally wrong for the scene imo. The official translated “your whole look’s different now!” line is much more appropriate and fitting for the situation since they’re just noting his physical appearance as it relates to them, there’s no reason to apply that to a meta framework and turn it into a direct statement of self-awareness from the story. That almost kinda unnecessarily just takes you out of the moment for no reason
