We're coming up on the end of Revolutionary Girl Utena, so it's time for another poll!  As such we'll be getting this poll done in advance, so we all know what's coming next.

Vote for YOUR FAVORITES of these listed anime that you would like to see us react to! We always take note of which shows get plenty of votes, but don't win.

Of the top four shows that receive the most votes, Jacob and I will each pick one to watch in order of which got the most votes! 

NOTE: Jacob has seen about a dozen episodes of total of various shows on this list, and Caleb has only seen a few random episodes of Mushishi.

Why you should vote Ashita no Joe: The grandfather of sports anime, highly influential on the genre and anime as a medium, would be the oldest series they'd have seen yet, has been referenced in many many shows the Bros have seen already, they've already watched Megalobox which was literally made as a 50th anniversary celebration of ANJ, and lastly its peak fiction. If you vote for Joe I love you

Oooh, Mushishi. Looks like it's winning. Will be interesting to rewatch, as it's been almost 15 years since I watched it. Been meaning to watch it again to see if it holds up to being one of my favourite anime of all time. Space Brothers too, being one of my favourites, tho unfortunately only third place. At least that probably means we'll get it eventually!

oh wow, this is some nostalgia. Nana gets a vote from me for its soundtrack alone. Would love to rewatch that with you guys. Mushishi is great but I have rewatched it not too long ago (with Teaboo) so not sure about that. Planetes is also quite high on my list.

Great poll, Joe still deserves it the most simply because I feel that as it ages people forget just how incredible of an achievement that production is. Absolutely enthralling character writing, direction and animation almost every single episode.

"they should be skipped" is nonsense btw. Joe 2 is a different production made A DECADE later and should probably have its own poll entry for this reason, or at least considered as something more than just a sequel. It's also an adaptation of the original joe manga of course, but to say it "overlaps" with Joe 1 like they just aired the same stuff again is disingenuous. Iirc they placed 2 in a different time period from the manga even.

I randomly picked Kino’s Journey to watch because of this poll and goddamn…I’m only a few episodes in but I’ve never stopped to just think so much this early on in a series. Really hope you guys get around to it one day :)

The latter. Caleb and Jacob will each pick a show out of the top final 4. An example with the current poll standings as I type this (to clarify once again this is just an EXAMPLE): Mushishi, Nana, Space Bros, and Kino are top 4 in that order. Say Caleb picks Nana and Jacob picks Kino or something. So even though Mushishi might have the most votes, it won't get watched and neither will Space Bros. Then the votes between the two shows *they chose* is what settles the watch order. In this example, Nana currently has 278 and Kino has 203 so Nana would be watched first then Kino.

Man I was pulling for Princess Tutu so hard. There's so much to theorize and talk about pretty much each episode I think they would love picking it apart. Plus it might get more people to watch an amazing show.

Because Nana is one of the few masterpieces out there. There are only a handful of anime and manga that can beat it. Nana is more than any anime that came after it has ever dreamed to me.
