Chapter 454: 9/13

Several people arrived, making the atmosphere in the room tense.

Luo looked at several members of the Phantom Troupe. The gunfire was no longer as intense as it had been, and even the screams had mostly subsided.

Just by listening, it was clear that most of the guards and bodyguards from the Ohara Museum had been killed by the Phantom Troupe members.

Uvogin, Feitan, Phinks, Franklin, Shalnark...

These few had arrived, stepping over corpses.

The members of the Troupe quickly assessed the situation.

The leader had lost an arm, and a bearded man not far away held a severed arm in his hand. Nobunaga was holding an unconscious Pakunoda, and further away, a woman had subdued Wugu.

"You're courting death!"

Uvogin roared and rushed towards Luo, but Feitan was faster.

Feitan moved like a phantom, blending into the night, quickly bypassing Uvogin and circling behind Luo in just a few moments.

In his high-speed movement, his wide black cloak fluttered in the wind. A cold gleam flashed from beneath the cloak.

Feitan's eyes were like ice, his Nen flared, showing no fear of being detected by Luo. The thin blade hidden in his cloak stabbed towards Luo's vital points.

Luo sidestepped, raising the severed arm in his hand to block Feitan's stab.

"Tch."

Feitan's eyes narrowed sharply, biting his lip hard under his mask. He forcibly pulled back, creating an opening.

Luo used the severed arm to block Feitan's knife, then reached out with his other hand, aiming for Feitan's neck.

Feitan, while in low air, bent his knees slightly and suddenly exerted force, kicking Luo's grabbing hand and attempting to retreat.

However, when Feitan was forced to change his move, Luo, enveloped in Nen, landed a powerful kick on Feitan's abdomen.

With a muffled sound, Feitan's body flew out like a cannonball, and a bit of blood spilled in the air.

After injuring Feitan, Luo quickly turned around, wiped his face with his hand, and removed his mask.

At this moment, Uvogin, who had already gathered his strength, raised his glowing fist, ready to strike at the opportunity created by Feitan.

As he was about to punch Luo's back, he saw Luo turn around and remove his mask, making the same mistake as Feitan.

"Luo?!"

Uvogin hesitated, his built-up attack dissipating like spring snow, leaving him momentarily bewildered.

Without the proper signals, Uvogin had no idea Luo was wearing a mask.

"Sorry, step back for now."

Luo stepped forward with his right foot, grabbed Uvogin's outstretched arm, and with a single-handed shoulder throw, sent Uvogin flying towards Franklin and the others.

Compared to kicking Feitan, this shoulder throw did not harm Uvogin but merely forced him back.

In a brief instant, the combined attacks of Feitan and Uvogin were completely nullified by Luo.

Feitan had stopped his attack abruptly to avoid damaging Chrollo's severed arm, knowing that Machi's Nen threads could perfectly reattach it. Destroying the arm would mean destroying Chrollo's chance to reattach it.

Although Feitan couldn't understand why Luo dared to use the severed arm to block his stab, Luo had indeed succeeded.

Luo knew that Machi could reattach the arm, and Feitan knew it too, which is why he used the severed arm to block Feitan's attack. Just a severed arm alone couldn't block a direct stab.

This was the importance of intelligence in battle, and Luo fully utilized this.

Turning and removing the mask served two purposes: to let Uvogin know his identity and to push Uvogin back without causing harm.

In the blink of an eye, Luo achieved all his desired outcomes: forcing Uvogin back and injuring Feitan.

It’s worth mentioning that Luo’s kick to Feitan was unrestrained, but Feitan's mastery of Ryu allowed him to mitigate about seventy percent of the damage.

"I need to seal the severed arm in the book to free up a hand."

Luo activated his Nen, stripping the lingering Nen from Chrollo's severed arm.

Chrollo, not far away, immediately sensed this and calmly closed the aura nodes on the severed arm.

"Decisive as always."

Seeing the severed arm no longer releasing Nen, Luo summoned the book of God's Hand without hesitation and sealed the arm inside, then dismissed the book.

In that moment, the initiative was fully in Luo’s hands, and he could destroy Chrollo's severed arm at will.

Chrollo knew that retrieving the arm was almost impossible. Given the situation, he didn't even consider trying to get it back and didn't inform his members about this, preventing them from making mistakes like Feitan did earlier.

Chrollo remained silent, but Franklin and Phinks noticed Luo sealing the arm in the book.

The next moment, Franklin raised his hands, all ten fingers aimed at Luo, channeling all his Nen into his hands, unleashing a barrage of Nen bullets with immense power, like a machine gun.

This all-out attack ignored defense, converting all Nen into an overwhelming offensive, the right choice given the circumstances since he didn't need to reserve any Nen for defense.

Countless Nen bullets formed a terrifying barrage, rapidly enveloping Luo.

Nen bullets were stronger than regular bullets and were energy-based, making them unstoppable by domains or reflection, only another force could resist them.

As Franklin unleashed his barrage, Phinks moved swiftly, running to the side, trying to find an opening to attack Luo while he dealt with Franklin’s assault.

Luo noticed Phinks's movement but focused on the torrent of Nen bullets.

He suddenly crouched, reducing his body's exposure to the barrage, pressed his left hand to the ground, quickly drawing the character "God," choosing the "Enhance" effect, while opening his domain, and raised his right hand in the direction Phinks might come from.

Countless streamers of light passed through the crouching Luo.

Some of the Nen bullets collided with the air in front of Luo, dissolving like snowflakes.

Upon closer inspection, one could see countless tadpoles swimming in the domain. When they touched the Nen bullets, they triggered the Nen-dissipating effect of God's Hand, directly neutralizing the bullets.

Luo needed the enhancement of the "God" character to achieve this, which limited him to a small area, but the advantage was that Franklin's overwhelming Nen barrage was neutralized at a minimal cost.

Franklin's barrage of Nen bullets did not cause Luo any substantial harm but restricted his movement, allowing Phinks to approach from Luo's right side.

To coordinate with Phinks, Franklin displayed impressive control, reducing the barrage on the right side.

Luo’s peripheral vision caught Phinks charging at him, calmly summoned his magic staff, extended it, and struck Phinks.

At the crucial moment, Phinks crossed his arms to block the staff but couldn't resist its force, being sent flying.

Seeing this, Franklin stopped his barrage to conserve Nen, ending the Phantom Troupe's coordinated attack.

Luo stood up slowly, creating an invisible pressure on the Phantom Troupe members present.
