Chapter 459: Evacuation
Among the three helicopters, one belonged to a media company, responsible for live broadcasting tonight's attack on the Ohara Museum.
However, the audience watching this event on television were almost all startled.
Originally, the camera was transmitting live images, with a female reporter talking non-stop, but suddenly a black shadow flew into the frame. The screen shook violently, followed by screams and the sounds of intense collisions, and finally, the screen went black.
It was clear that the helicopter had been shot down, and the people inside were definitely doomed.
Witnessing this through the television, many viewers were left shaken.
The screen turned to static but resumed moments later, switching to the anchor desk.
The mature anchor sitting at the desk looked slightly pale, trying to maintain composure as she continued to report the incident, displaying the images captured by the camera.
There were three clear photos, showing Uvogin, Nobunaga, and Feitan. Among them, Uvogin was looking up at the helicopter, captured the clearest. There was also a distant shot showing the people present, but their faces were not clear.
"According to the latest information received by our station, the attackers on the Ohara Museum tonight are a highly dangerous A-level criminal group known for committing heinous crimes worldwide. They call themselves the Phantom Troupe."
"From the captured images, the personnel at the Ohara Museum suffered heavy casualties..."
Tonight, the city of Bit was no longer peaceful. The area around the Ohara Museum was sealed off, with people watching from outside the police cordon, while many others followed the event through television and computers.
In areas close to the Ohara Museum, many residents not only heard prolonged gunfire and explosions but also the explosion from the helicopter crash just now.
Inside the park, the helicopter wreckage was scattered in three places, burning fiercely.
Salin stared at Uvogin with disgust. She had been observing, noticing that Luo seemed to know him, so she did not interfere with Luo's decisions.
However, despite the numerous deaths caused by this group tonight at the Ohara Museum, Uvogin's emotional outburst and his killing spree showed that he was a person who completely disregarded life.
She could not understand why the gentle and considerate Luo was acquainted with such people.
Salin wanted to speak but remained silent, letting Luo handle it himself.
Luo silently glanced at the helicopter wreckage, then looked at Shalnark, and said calmly, "Throw the box over."
Shalnark did not move until Chrollo nodded at him. Only then did he throw the box forcefully towards Luo.
The distance between them was over a hundred meters, with a sense of indifference as if the contents of the box were of no importance.
The box flew through the air towards Luo.
"This is what you asked for," Shalnark thought to himself.
Phinks watched the box in the air, maliciously hoping the contents would be damaged.
Pointer!
As the box approached, Luo's aura circle expanded, controlling the box and making it fall slowly to his feet.
The members of the Troupe watched silently.
Luo opened the three boxes, quickly glanced at them, then closed them and materialized a book, holding it in his hand.
He opened the book, flipped to Chrollo's page, and placed his finger on the severed arm illustration, letting his aura flow and pulling the arm out of the book, throwing it towards Chrollo.
The severed arm drew an arc in the air, caught by Chrollo. He could see the strange condition of the cut, sealed by a thin layer of aura.
Knowing the reason already, Chrollo was not surprised.
Shalnark and the others gathered around. When they first saw Chrollo's severed arm, they were shocked but hadn't noticed something odd - Chrollo's arm wasn't bleeding. They noticed later but had no time to ask.
"What is this?" Phinks' eye twitched.
"His aura," Chrollo replied, then looked at Luo, who remained calm and expressionless.
"It's time for you to leave," Luo said flatly, not intending to help Chrollo reattach the arm.
Chrollo was silent for a moment, realizing that Luo had no intention of helping him reattach the arm. The condition was only to return the arm.
With this in mind, he did not argue further, telling the members to leave for the Ohara Museum.
Nobunaga and Feitan stopped, joining Uvogin and the others to follow Chrollo.
Before leaving, Feitan gave Luo a cold glare, which Luo ignored completely.
Watching the Troupe leave, Luo summoned the black cat.
"We watched a good show, didn't we? I envy them. Tonight, they must have killed at least a thousand people."
The black cat appeared, looking in the direction the Troupe left, filled with envy and jealousy. Those were a thousand pages, which could increase its aura foundation by at least twenty percent.
Luo grabbed the black cat, stuffing the three items from the box into its mouth, causing it to look unhappy.
"Luo, what are you doing?" Salin watched in confusion as Luo hid the three items.
"This is my service fee."
Luo winked at Salin.
If he hadn't intervened, the Ohara Museum would have been looted clean. So taking a service fee was reasonable, just like a hunter's commission.
As for being discovered, Luo wasn't worried. They wouldn't leave, and the black cat's space was the best hiding place, absolutely undetectable.
Salin covered her forehead, unsure what to say.
"I need to go to the museum to ensure they leave obediently."
Luo greeted Salin and quickly headed to the museum.
Salin wanted to ask about Luo's relationship with the group, but he ran off before she had the chance, watching his figure disappear into the night.
On the way to the museum, bodies were scattered everywhere.
"Tonight, the people who died by their hands probably exceed a thousand."
Luo ran swiftly, his peripheral vision catching the bodies lying on the ground.
Moments later, he reached the museum's outskirts, seeing a disorganized team, all looking at the three ancient trees of the museum in horror, their morale shattered.
It seemed that when Chrollo and the others came here, they had another killing spree, completely breaking the team's will.
"Stay here and don't move."
Luo issued the order, not caring if they listened, and went to the museum's entrance, releasing his "En." He sensed the Troupe members inside the largest ancient tree museum.
As his aura circle penetrated the museum, the Troupe members inside noticed.
Luo walked in through the front door, seeing all the Troupe members, including Machi, with eight bundles tied on the ground.
Looking at the messily tied bundles, he couldn't help but recall the recyclable things he used to find in the garbage dump, tied the same way.
"Luo."
Machi frowned slightly, taking a step forward but was pulled back by Nobunaga.
Luo said nothing, quietly watching them.
"Let's go."
Chrollo said slowly, raising his hand to break a hole in the tree wall, leading the Troupe members out.
This scene was captured by hidden cameras placed around.
Luo watched the Phantom Troupe leave, his gaze shifting to the eight bundles of ancient artifacts on the ground, some of which carried aura.
Tonight's Troupe operation ended in failure, without gaining anything.
"Blame Feitan."
Luo silently blamed Feitan.
