1915 Ford Model T Speedster - Beta (Patreon)

The original local short track racer! The 1915 Ford Model T Speedster is getting its initial beta release!  In this download there are two versions, one with authentic model T controls that will require the use of a H-Shifter and one that uses more modern controls.

Additional Authentic Version is included in the download. The authentic version has the correct controls for a Model T, you won't need to reprogram your controls. Pedals match original pedals: left for gear changes and clutch, center for reverse, right one for brakes. Throttle is controlled with gear paddles: left one decreases throttle, right one increases. The three point handbrake requires the use of the H-shifter. With third, neutral and fourth gears it gives a three point lever — exactly like the one in the Model T. Fourth gear acts like fully engaged handbrake, neutral like half-engaged (allowing to shift to first and start driving), third gear like fully disengaged handbrake (allowing to shift to second by completely releasing left pedal). At the start the car will sit with the engine off and show a message for user to engage fourth gear. Once engaged then engine will start and car will be ready to go. Just release handbrake halfway by moving H-shifter to neutral (or even up into 3rd to fully release the handbrake), press left pedal and add some gas with right gear paddle and it should drive.
NOTES on authentic version:
   1. The authentic version does not have properly working AI, but you will be able to race against the other 1915 Ford Model T Speedster version as AI opponents with zero issues.
   2. For the Authentic Version to work you will need to enable extended physics.
