1958 Lotus 16 - Early Access Release! (Patreon)

The 1958 Lotus 16 Formula 1 car is now available for download HERE. This car is pretty far along with very few things remaining. I am pretty proud of the details we were able to include with this one, from the realistic movement of the unique rear suspension to the detailed interior of the car. The Lotus 16 really raises the bar for HSS. We have included 9 liveries, including multiple historic liveries and several fictional ones to help flesh out a nice field of cars. I've been having a blast lapping it around Bremgarten, so that might be a fun track to try this car out with, be prepared to countersteer as there is a good amount of weight in the rear of this car, especially with a full tank of fuel. I think this car might take some of you some time to learn and get the hang of, it is a rather unique driving experience in certain respects. The car might not have been the fastest in 1958, but it sure is a unique beauty that I find very rewarding when I dial up a fast lap. Enjoy!

REMINDER: this car uses the latest CSP extended physics, so make sure you have CSP installed.

Remaining Tasks:
1. Additional LODS.
2. Further Tire tweaks as I continue to experiment with the CSP extended physics features.
3. A better default setup, I think this car could be bit nicer in the rear with some further setup adjustments.
