1932 Studebaker Indycar Early Access Release! (Patreon)

Today I am proud to release the 1932 Studebaker Indycar, which you can DOWNLOAD HERE. The inspiration to make this car resulted from Sergio Loro's 1930s Indianapolis track mod, which did not have a period correct companion until today.
Oval racing can be somewhat boring in Assetto Corsa, so I have done my best to make things interesting. These are obviously older tires with less grip, but I have also added a comprehensive tire heat model (perhaps a touch exaggerated, so I would like feedback). You can push the car full out for a couple of hot laps, but if you continue to push the car full out, sliding the rear with the throttle to the floor, those tires are going to get hot, and slick, especially the right rear. The tires will begin to lose grip until you start to coast into the corners, take them as smoothly as possible, and wait to apply the throttle just a bit later. The temps will drop and then you can push hard again. Alternatively, you can take a more balanced approach, seeking to drive as fast as you can without letting the tires get to hot, and seeking to keep your lap times consistent.
Some things to note:
1. The sounds are not final.
2. Tires may receive some physics tweaks in the upcoming months.
3. We have included 4 paint schemes, with more coming soon!
4. Not settled on the gearing ratios yet, other then 4th (top) which will not change.
5. Setup options need to be expanded in the future.
6. I want to add some fuel milage elements, such as 100% throttle really consuming a noticeable amount of fuel. So that lift and coast and or partial throttle application can have a strategic effect in longer races that we will host in the future.
We are also making a competitor for the Studebaker to race against, the 1932 Indy Custom, which will take the Studebaker chassis and suspension but with other custom elements, including a Miller I4 engine as opposed to the I8 in the Studebaker. We hope to have that car finished in a couple of weeks.
