Ada had been locked in a wooden head and hand stockade. Ada had already escaped once. The monks had locked Ada inside the wooden stockade and left her in the cell. All Ada could do was wiggle her wrist and neck. Ada couldn't see the locks, move her hands or see her feet. Ada looked around the room and had no way of getting out.

Ada was then gagged with rubber gag that encased her tong and made speech impossible. All Ada could do was stare and glare at the monks watching her.
