Roadmap Updated December 2021 (Patreon)
Content
Hey folks and welcome!
We have had a few developments in our roadmap so it's about time I show you how all things are going.
Since I posted the last roadmap, we have released Ancients, Memes and Structures, Anima Theme, Rim Effect Asari and the Reapers and Rim Effect Drell. Quite a lot of mods, am I right?
We will be now entering an unwind period due to two reasons:
1. Christmas is coming fast and I don't want to repeat the mistake of working through Christmas. I'd rather spend this time with my family. I love you guys, but yeah, I love my family more.
2. In January next year, Cracklewock Games - Studio I'm in with Roolo (Dual Wield, Giddy Up, What the Hack!) and Smash Phil (Vanilla Achievements Expanded, Boats, SRTS, Vehicles!) are launching a Kickstarter with our own game called Cursed Crew. You can find out more about it at www.patreon.com/CracklewockGames
As such, this year I expect two more mod releases and one more mod update:
Vanilla Factions Expanded - Mechanoids content update (read more about it in the latest free devblog: https://www.patreon.com/posts/59386954)
Vanilla Outposts Expanded
(MAYBE) Witcher Gear mod.
Alright, but what about 2022?
We have a huge amount of cool new content planned for 2022. As we all know, we're releasing our Pirate Game on Kickstarter in January. To promote it further in the best community I ever found, I am also working on Vanilla Factions Expanded - Pirates. No, it doesn't add boats. Not this kind of pirates. This mod will be expanding space pirates in rimworld, and you will find out more about it very soon!
Our Vanilla UI Expanded is also slated to release in January. Don't worry, we're not altering anything RimHUD and others do - in fact you will probably find yourself using Vanilla UI Expanded and other UI mods simultaneously!
Vanilla Trading Expanded is going great and will most likely release during our Kickstarter campaign.
Vanilla Genetics Expanded is also going full steam ahead now, we've been working on it relentlessly and it should release closer to the end of our Kickstarter campaign, if all goes well. We're not afraid to keep it under wraps longer, because the longer we work on something, the better it turns out. Usually.
The rest of the roadmap looks rather unchanged. We're still waiting for Vehicles framework to make the Vanilla Vehicles Expanded, but obviously Smash Phil has been busy working on Cursed Crew.
We have added a few new Rim Effect mods to the list of the mods we're working on, so look out for those as well!
