Hello Everyone! I have some very exciting news! As of Yesterday, Chun Li vs Mai has Wrapped Filming!!! The Release Date will be the 25th of this Month! I hope everyone is excited, because this is easily the most incredible piece of animation, I've ever produced.....and that's saying something.... The Whole Project is around 12,156 and it's not an exaggeration to say I had to animate each one. The Total Runtime is about 7 MINUTES LONG! I can't express how much focus, time, effort, and passion goes into these things.

It's always fun watching it live with you guys, but I notice the quality isn't always the best during the premiere. I understand anyone who wants to wait for the video to process! Either way, if you can tune in Live! Saturday at 12:00pm EST is when this project will hit YouTube, I'd love to watch it with you.

I'm gonna be honest, this project really took a lot out of me, as all of my work does...I might need a little bit of time just to mentally process, that this is finally over.

I start to get a bit defensive in the days coming up to a big release, but there are just a lot of emotions I need to grapple with, as I prepare to make hundreds of hours of my time and effort open to the public.

Let me just establish a couple of things quickly.

I'll reiterate.... I don't know a ton about Chun Li or Mai, I came into this project with no skin in the game, no bias, I just wanted to make a Beautiful, Kung Fu, Ninja Catfight, because I don't think there are a lot. I think my broader audience might be forgetting how rare they are becoming.

I came into this just as an artist trying to tell a story, that's it. Although I think this is the highest quality animation between these two that's ever been made, this is all still one person's vision. I do my best to represent all of us, but the comments I've gotten have been....sadly....discouraging. I've heard so many comments. I want "Mai to Win, I want them to be naked, I want this ending! I want this, I'd prefer that." Its exhausting to deal with so much discourse, and I love you guys, but sometimes It really becomes overwhelming....

In the 12 years since their famous death battle, I haven't seen anything come close to this level of quality, depicting a match between them. Don't forget how far we've come.

People have asked me to do this match up for years, and I never thought I actually would make it. I thought it was too polarizing, and I don't really care for such divisive match ups. But then, I remembered what my mission statement was. To give these amazing fight sequences to iconic female characters that never had them. Mai and Chun Li have had a long lasting rivalry, and although I didn't feel worthy in making it, I thought it was my responsibility to at least try.

Soon, we'll be able to AI Generate anything from our imagination, and I think screens will be meaningless...the concept of animating something frame by frame will be completely alien. So just enjoy the time someone put into this as we quickly approach the brink of no return.

Please Enjoy.

triple h is a piece of shit

thank you for your effort, death battles brought out so much toxicity from every fandoms; it's a really awful show. Sorry you had to deal with its audience.

Then why was it necessary to publish news to inform us? Why was it necessary to write posts like: “Something hot is waiting for you,” “What would you like to see in this battle?”, and so on. Of course people will write different things; There are few people who will write what you like - and that’s normal, we are all people, we are all different, with our own interests. For example, I also really like fights to the death, as opposed to those where there is no winner. In the last fights, the meaning of the fight disappears - why fight for so long if no one wins in the end? In a fight to death it is always interesting: there is intrigue about who will defeat whom, who will win and how and if the timing of a mortal fight is long, the fight is in several stages, locations - then this is a paradise, a holiday for connoisseurs of hot, sweaty female fights. In conclusion, I would like to add that we, the audience, should not be essentially blamed for not meeting your expectations. If you understand that from some post that you are going to publish, the comments will be 'not very pleasant' for you, then do not publish the post, and if our comments disappoint you in principle, then do not publish anything at all. Either you are with us, listening to our opinions, to our wishes, to what we want to see or you are alone and you don’t need us. The choice is yours.

You cant make everyone happy. A or B or C, whatever choice you take, theres always people whos gonna like it or not like it. That just how it is, people are just different and you just need to accept it. Like me for example, i want chun li to win and yeah, fight to the death too, but the usual stuff is kinda acceptable too. You can choose to side with your fans by following the voice of majority of your fans.(Fans) Or You can choose to stay true to yourself even if majority of your fans gonna hate it.(You) Or You can choose to side with yourself a little but at the same time, you make it so majority of them on acceptable level, not too happy but not too dissapointed either because some of their wish are indeed happen. (balance) But no, making everyone happy will never be an option. Ah by the way, could us whos in this patreon had special treatment ? like watch it early ? :)

The main thing is that the fight does not end with some kind of knockout, I think you understand me. In women's fights there are very few finishes to the death and sexy chokes to the death, not to mention the fact that girls fighting with a minimum of clothing practically never happens, which is really missing and I want to see - a sexy, sweaty fight of girls with a minimum of clothing and the end with choke hold to death. You can also add some bloody wounds on the body or face received in a fight so that the tension grows. I’m not talking about the fact that now it is necessary to nude girls to a minimum in all fights - only in a few. For example, it would be appropriate for Lara and Helena to be naked (by tearing off each other's dresses in a fight), Mai and Chun Li are already almost naked.

Regarding the early preview, I would also like the battle to come out much earlier - the sooner the battle comes out, the new one will come out sooner. There is no need to waste time. In addition, on Saturday everyone will be at home, someone simply won’t have time to watch the video, because someone will go for a walk along the street, someone will call to go for a walk someone, and so on. It would be more logical to release the fight then on Friday or even earlier (again, should we take time?) - this week, for example on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday (15, 16, 17 of May)

Because on weekdays we come home after work, school, university and we want to watch this video when we know that we don’t need anywhere else and that we’ll never leave the house again. Watching a sweaty fight between beautiful and strong girls after a hard day at work is heaven
