It's such a cute idea to think of Hawks doing courting dances and Enji being absolutely clueless until he gets told exactly straight (haha) what Hawks intentions are. Possibly even that within Enji's species of Mermaid/men they don't do anything for courting, whereas Hawks' species do dancing, gift giving etc.
