Pumpkin Discussions (Light Pumpkin TF)

“I want chocolate.“ Azalea stated, crossing her arms.

“Good for you?“ Nagisa questioned, slightly confused.

“Nono, you don’t understand. I REALLY want chocolate.“ Azalea declared.

“Candy not good enough for you?“ Nagisa laughed.

“I really want chocolate and Candy!“ Azalea demanded.

“Alright, I hear you. What’s your plan?“ Nagisa grinned. “You just want to go out Trick or Treating?“

“No. Who do you take me for?“ Azalea huffed playfully. “I love Halloween for everything about it, but I am not about to go pretending to humans that I am not a real fairy. I have standards. Not to mention that it would be pointless right now.“

“Can’t wait to find out what those are…“ Nagisa shrugged. “Anyhow, if that's not what you want to do, then what is your plan? Also why is trick or treating pointless?“

“Okay, hear me out!“ Azalea spoke, leaning in real close. “When I checked my candy chamber, I was astounded to find… It's empty! I have no candy at home! This is a certified Greek tragedy!“

“Absolute tragedy.“ Nagisa rolled her eyes playfully. “Now how could that have happened?“

“The spirit of Halloween must have stolen all of it! I am sure of it!“ Azalea slammed her fist on the table.

“And you want to steal it back?“ Nagisa peeked up.

“Heck no. They stole it fair and square!“ Azalea shook her head. “I was thinking of producing some myself. And I have the perfect person in mind.“

That’s when Azalea pulled out a potion from her belt. “‘Summon Light’ potion! Go!“

Azalea threw it and it basically exploded. Though Nagisa's grin widened as a puff of purple smoke erupted from the vial. As it cleared, a tall, slender figure materialized before them, her brown hair, green eyes and very distinct glasses.

"Light! Just the person I wanted to see," Azalea chirped, clapping her hands together.

The newcomer blinked, clearly disoriented. "Azalea? Nagisa? What's going on?"

“Hello there.“ Nagisa waved while chuckling.

"We have a candy emergency," Azalea explained, her voice grave. "And you, my dear Light, are going to help us solve it. Time for you to become our unlimited candie machine and…”

“We are not turning her inanimate, Aza.“ Nagisa stated firmly.

“Whaaaaa? Why not?“ Azalea pouted. “I wanted her to become an infinitely repairing festival pinata!“

“We are not turning her inanimate, Aza.“ Nagisa reiterated with the same expression.

“Fine. Then how about a Pumpkin?“ Azalea asked. “I am sure you would be okay with that.“

“I am listening.“ Nagisa raised an eyebrow.

At this point Light just looked speechlessly between the goddess and the fairy, without getting any good words in.

“Alright, then here I go!“ Azalea declares, pulling out another potion. “‘Turn her into a Pumpkin’ potion! GO!!!“

Light's eyes widen in alarm as Azalea uncorks the potion. "Wait, what? I didn't agree to—"

But it's too late. Azalea flings the concoction, and a swirl of orange mist engulfs Light. When it clears, where Light once stood now sits an enormous pumpkin, easily as tall as Nagisa. Light's upper body emerges from the top, her legs replaced by twisting vines on the top of the massive pumpkin.

"Ta-da!" Azalea squeals, clapping her hands. "Isn't she adorable?"

Light blinks, looking down at her new form in disbelief. "I... I'm a pumpkin."

Nagisa puts in a thinking pose. "I was intrigued before, but now you have my attention. What do you plan to do with this massive vegetable?"

"Technically, pumpkins are fruits," Light mutters.

"See? She likes it!" Azalea beams.

“Her expression definitely doesn't show that.“ Nagisa shrugs with a smirk.

“Exactly!“ Light interjects. “I can’t even move like this!“

“Moving is overrated.“ Azalea declared pulling out another concoction. “But smiling is not. ‘Replace her head with a pumpkin and give her a massive Jack-o-lantern smile’ potion! GOOO!!!“

“Wha…?!?“ Before Light can protest, Azalea hurls the new potion. It shatters against Light's face, enveloping her head in a swirling mist of orange and black. The air crackles with magic, and Light feels a tingling sensation spread across her features.

As the mist dissipates, Light's human head has vanished, replaced by an enormous, headsized pumpkin. Its surface is smooth and unblemished, a perfect sphere of vibrant orange. For a moment, everything is still.

Then, with a sound like a knife through butter, lines begin to appear on the pumpkin's surface. They carve themselves deep into the flesh, forming two triangular eyes and a wide, toothy grin. The cuts glow with an eerie inner light, as if lit from within by magical flames.

Light blinks, her new pumpkin eyes opening and closing with a creaking sound. She tries to speak, but finds her mouth locked in its carved grin. With some effort, she manages to move her new pumpkin jaw.

"Azalea!" Light exclaims, her voice echoing slightly inside her hollow head. "What have you done? Turn me baaack!"

Azalea claps. “Perfect. Now look, she likes it.“

“Can’t say she doesn’t.“ Nagisa covers her mouth to hide a giggle. “Her smile is very apparent.“

“Yes, exactly!” Azalea declared, pulling out another potion. “But that’s not enough. Have another ‘Carve a living face into the pumpkin, but this time at the main body’ Potion! GOOOO!!!“

Azalea hurls the potion at Light's massive pumpkin body. It shatters against the orange surface, releasing a swirling mist of golden sparkles. The magic seeps into the pumpkin's flesh, causing it to glow and pulsate with an otherworldly light.

As Light watches in astonishment, intricate lines begin to etch themselves across her pumpkin body. They start at the base, curving and twisting upwards in an elaborate pattern. The lines deepen and widen, forming the outline of an enormous face.

Two large, almond-shaped eyes emerge, their edges crisp and clean. A nose takes shape between them, perfectly proportioned to the face's massive size. Finally, a wide, toothy grin spreads across the lower half of the pumpkin, stretching from one side to the other.

The carved lines flare with a warm, golden light, illuminating the face from within. It blinks, the eyes opening and closing with a soft creaking sound. The mouth moves, lips parting to reveal a cavernous interior filled with the same golden glow.

Light gasps, both with her upper face and her lower face. “Wait… I have two faces?“

“Jup~ I’m glad you noticed~“ Azalea put her hands together, looking at her glorious pumpkin creation. “What do you say, my good friend?“

“I say she is awesome, but I don’t exactly see how she would solve your chocolate and candy problem.“ Nagisa declared, although her smile said otherwise.

“That’s why I need you too…“ Azalea leaned in to whisper into Nagisa’s ears, to which Nagisa giggled after a while. Light gulped the best she could with her two permanently smiling pumpkin faces.

“Alright, as a birthday present for my dear friend, I guess I could cast a curse too~“ Nagisa declared, stretching out her hand towards Light. Light could feel the dark mist of Nagisa envelope her body.

“From now on, whenever you hear the words ‘Trick or Treat’, your lower pumpkin will start to fill to the brim with candy and chocolate. And with variety from all around the world. When you hear those trigger words, you will just keep on producing them until they start falling out of your face. Understood?“ Nagisa asked, her voice powerful and menacing. Light could feel her entire being changing at her words.

Light's eyes widen in shock, both sets of them. "Wait, what? No, I don't under—"

"Trick or treat!" Azalea shouts gleefully, cutting Light off mid-protest.

Instantly, Light feels a strange sensation in her lower pumpkin body. A rumbling begins deep within, like the stirring of a giant cauldron. Her carved mouth stretches wider as colorful candies and chocolates start pouring out in a cascade of sweetness.

"It works!" Azalea squeals, dancing around Light as the treats pile up on the ground. "Look at all this candy!"

Nagisa smirks, clearly pleased with her handiwork. "Not bad, if I do say so myself."

“N-No, I’m not a… Hiii~“ Light tries to speak, but every time she opens her mouth, she inadvertently opens her second mouth too, which then causes more candy spills out. Lollipops, chocolate bars, gummy worms, and countless other confections tumble forth in a seemingly endless stream.

"This is amazing!" Azalea exclaims, scooping up handfuls of candy. "Light, you're the best pumpkin candy dispenser ever!"

"I'm not a—mmph!" Light's protests are muffled as more candy spills from her lower face. She tries to close her mouth, but the carved grin remains fixed in place, seemingly endlessly producing sweets. Even if she knew that the production had already stopped, she was still so full that it didn't matter.

"Oh, this is too good," Nagisa chuckles, plucking a chocolate bar from the growing pile. "I think we've solved your candy emergency, Azalea."

"And then some!" Azalea agrees, her arms now full of treats. "We could supply the whole mortal realm with this much candy."

“You are planning to share?“ Nagisa pondered.

“Oh hell no!“ Azalea protested, to which Nagisa broke into laughter.

“Uhm…“ Lightness stuttered, finally able to speak somewhat freely without too much candy pouring out of her lower mouth. “How long will I have to be like that?“

That’s when Nagisa and Azalea both looked at her, looked at each other, and then smiled. Nagisa spoke up first. “I really only have one answer to that question.“

“Damn right we do!“ Azalea interjected, as both took a deep breath together.

“Trick or Treaaaaat~!“

…and there goes Light's stomach filling up again…

— Later that evening —

The storage room door closes.

Nagisa rolled her eyes as she headed back towards Azalea's living room.

“Like hell her candy chamber is empty.“ She shrugged her shoulders. “If anything, it seems fuller than ever, and that's before Light’s generous donations. Almost like she is…“

But that’s when the goddess stopped herself. After all, even if that were true, it was none of her business. Azalea was very well free to do whatever she wanted in her freetime.

…and apparently filling her candy chamber takes quite the big priority on her list.
