“I think we should go to that Hiros guy.” Lyra said with a sigh under her breath. “To be perfectly honest he seems to me like the least random and most trustworthy person.”

“That might be true, but… do you think he can even help us with this gem? Isn’t he just a master of monster girls or something?” Ilen asked, giving the gem in front of Lyra another look. “Because even if I don’t really know much about this thing, it doesn’t look like any sort of monster girl to me.”

“Well, we will never know until we ask him.” Lyra said as she jumped up from her seat and stuffed the jewel into her purse. Then she energetically thrusted her fist into the sky and shouted. “Let’s go!”

Having Ilen in her party was a super huge convenience for Lyra, as the guy had mastered at least a basic level of teleportation magic. It was a bit embarrassing for her considering she was aspiring to be a disciple of the goddess of Darkness some day, but for now she was just happy that fast traveling was a thing.

So, taking teleportation magic into account, Hiros didn’t even live that far away from the academy. Just about 3 or 4 teleportation jumps and a bit of getting lost in the streets later the two of them actually arrived at the house that a certain goddess foretold that her brother would live. So all they had to do was ring the bell and hope he was home.

Ding Dong

“Hello?” An unfamiliar male voice answered from behind the door, making Lyra clear her voice.

“Hello~ My name is Lyra and this here is Ilen. We both came here because Nagisa sent us. Are you her brother Hiros by chance?” She asked, giving him a slight lie, but she was sure Nagisa wouldn’t mind. Heck, knowing her she would probably even confirm it as fact just for fun.

“Oh really? Sure, come in.” The door opened and a tall brown-black haired young man stood before the two of them in the doorway, gesturing them to come inside. “Let’s go down into the meeting room. What did you two need from me anyway?”

“Oh, nothing much.” lyra said with a big grin, following Hiros diligently downstairs with happy hops. Ilen, on the other hand, did not feel as great to just straight up lie to a stranger's face, though at this point he was dragged in too deep to clear up everything.

When the two of them reached the bottom of the stairs they entered a big room that almost looked like it could be a prime party location, with a bar on one side, some tables towards the other side and a big empty floor in the middle.

“How about you take a seat? This seems important.” Hiros said, pointing towards the party bench on one side. With a slight chuckle from Lyra and a pained smile from Ilen, both sat down, before Hiros took a place on the other side of the table. “Yeah… I am sorry for the not really guest friendly establishment. This is the only place where I can talk about Nagisa stuff without the risk of someone overhearing us. So, what can I do for you?”

Lyra and Ilen briefly looked at each other, before Lyra pulled out the gem from her purse and put it on the table in front of Hiros, who immediately eyed it questioningly. Lyra explained. “Let’s just say we found it on our latest expedition. It looks powerful, but we don’t really know what to use it for. We wanted to talk to an expert and Nagisa pointed us to you.”

“Interesting…” Hiros let out, looking like he was deep in thought. “If she pointed you here, then that could only mean that… May I try something?”

“Yes, of course!” lyra answered quickly. Ilen tried his hardest to just keep quiet and let Lyra handle everything, because he had a feeling that his overcaution would just ruin everything. Although there was a bit of fear when Hiros reached for the crystal, like he was expecting it to explode or something.

Though to his surprise, Hiros pulled out a sort of Notebook from seemingly nowhere and put it flat on the table. Then he grabbed the gem like a pen and attempted to write something in the book with it. Needless to say neither Lyra nor Ilen had any idea what Hiros was trying, but he looked confident.

However, suddenly the Gem started to shine, and where it previously looked like he just acted like he wrote something in the book, words, phrases and symbols started appearing, while the gemstone as a whole started to glow. And shrink. Yet that didn’t stop Hiros from writing more and more in his book, until the gemstone disappeared completely from his hand.

“Wait! Did you just…?!?”

“One moment!” Hiros responded before Ilen could finish his sentence. He grabbed his book in his left and stood up from the chair, then stretched out his right hand and pointed it towards the big empty party floor in the middle of the room.

Seconds after, the floor started to glow as well as the book in his hand, making it almost look like a portal was about to open in the middle of the room. Suddenly though, the glow stopped completely and the gem that had disappeared from Hiros hand was hovering in midair in the middle of the room.

Then it started growing a bit while parts of rocks and other gemstones of similar color sprouted from the crystal on all sides. It gained more and more mass and looked like it was trying to shape itself into a very specific form. A human-like form.

Just a minute later, the conglomerate of gems had two distinct and even feminine looking legs,  clearly wide hips, a thin waistline where you could still see the main crystal at its core, two perky breasts made entirely out of the same reddish gems and a honestly very cute face. Ilen and Lyra couldn’t help but stare at the golem that had just manifested itself in front of them.

“I knew it could work! Thank you two~” Hiros chimed looking happily at the masterpiece he had just created. Lyra couldn't help but clap her hands, while Ilen had a hard time not to stare at the gemstone assets of the golem.

“Your name will be Lillia, a magistone powered golem. That means a fully automatic, almost free willed, artificially created monster girl. I couldn’t be more happy~” Hiros continued, taking his book back into his hands.

“Uhm… isn’t that dangerous?” Ilen asked, though Hiros seemingly ignored his call and started writing in his magical notebook again. Moments later, the golems' eyes started flaring up in a bright red, before changing to a soft blue.

“Startup initiated. All systems green. Core fully functioning. Unit 017 name Lillia ready for usage.” Lillia said and proceeded to scan the room, making Ilen shudder when her gaze fell upon him. She then unexpectedly for all three of them added. “Searching for a worthy master… Search successfully.”
